Back stage in Detroit, and the room is full of smoke and apprehension.
we been playin shows as the warmup band and the band for Back Hansen(sp),
in walks Jack says how'd ya do? Then he handed me this wonderful statute..
and I said, Thank You, Jack White, for this Fiber-Optic Jesus that you gave me.
It shines so bright, that I couldn't help believing it would save me.
When I finally got it home... my whole neighbourhood was a-glow, and I said
thank you, Jack White, for that Fiber-Optic Jesus that you gave me.
Jack n Meg r funny, they got a modern backwards liberal family code.
Brother n sister, playin rock n roll and doing it on the road.
I bet that van begins to stink.. then I wonder, what Christ would think
Thank you, Jack White, for that Fiber-Optic Jesus that you gave me.
It shined so bright, that I couldn't help believin' it would save me.
Then I finally got it home.. my whole neighbourhood was a-glow, and I said,
thank you, Jack White, for that Fiber-Optic Jesus that you gave me.
sorry but the posted song was lacklustre and this was on in the background.

Medical marijuana is Bulls**t.

Bulls**t medical is marijuana.
lansuggsAug 25, 2010
Critics will be quick to point out that medical cannabis is only an excuse for people who want to get high to abuse the system.
Obviously! So the f**k what?
elderonAug 25, 2010
Exactly. I'd rather have rappers or anyone that want's to use responsibly be able to do so. Would you rather rappers be high and non violent and make music (even if I don't like it) or engage in gang like fighting amongst each other? Not that all rappers are like that, but many portray that kind of life.
frankly as long as someone isn't lighting up inside a restaurant or crowded public area I think people should prob mind their own business. It's like people with various ADD or ADHD on medical amphetamines (yes meth is a class 2, that means a doc can prescribe you legal methamphetamine (fairly rare, usually a last case type thing, but it's possible) I don't see people getting all fussy because ADD person has amphetamines in their place (by prescription...)
but OMG cannabis holy crap call the cops.

This guy is going to mess it up for all the people who really need it.
itchyrichyAug 25, 2010
no they wont. you're just paranoid :)
willrsAug 25, 2010
he does really need it? you think he'd be able to make that beat sober? no.
russ3Aug 25, 2010
no he's going to expose what an easily abused system it is, leading to legalization, not retightening of the laws
howedAug 25, 2010
This song sucks, and if d-bags keep doing stupid stuff like this they will ruin it for the rest of us. Plus there is already a rap group that is considered the head of the weed revolution/ counter culture revolution, Kottonmouth Kings, and they are a lot better than this crap.
willrsAug 25, 2010
kottonmouth kings are a bunch of white trash bros
russ3Aug 25, 2010
he kottonmouth kings suck, and you think one rapper can corner the market on talkin bout weed?
howedAug 25, 2010
No I don't think one band/group can corner the market, there are a lot of pro-weed smoking groups and rappers, Snoop, Ludacris, Redman and Method Man and the list goes on. You can pick any KmK song and its better than this. Sorry I didn't clarify, KmK may seem like white trash bro's but they can still rap and make better beats than this anytime. I'm not a huge fan of theres either, but common did you listen to this song? Now go youtube any KmK song and it will all become clear.

I just clicked on the first Kottonmouth Kings song on Youtube, K-O-T-T-O-N-M-O-U-T-H Song.
Wow.. that was f**king terrible. I mean REALLY f**king terrible.
So I click on the next link.. King Klick. I gave it 40 seconds before my ears started bleeding. f**king awful.
sgcanuckAug 25, 2010
i don't see how this well help the cause. by flaunting his card in that video (and putting into question the regulation/dealing of it), he's only strengthening anti-medicinal-marijuana mob fears that the medicinal marijuana system is just being exploited and abused.
goddestroyerAug 25, 2010
Besides the singing and dancing it looks like reality. I've spent a few Sundays the same way. Not very interesting.
xguitarAug 25, 2010
Who the F cares if the dude got a MMJ card. The song and video suck.
I had cereal for breakfast, in a BIG MF BOWL, Yo. Wit lotsa milk on it, Yo. Gonna write a MF rap song about it and put it on da YouTube, Yo.
russ3Aug 25, 2010
just drop a fat beat
yamenAug 25, 2010

dancantoneAug 25, 2010
Dumb and does nothing to help the cause. Makes clowns of legit users...even recreational users abhor this type glorification. I use MMJ but you will never see me advertise it to everyone. Just like anything else I may choose to consume. Corny...

what is the song that it samples from, i seriously can't think of the name

f**k California!

I'm a big rap fan, and this is s**t.
civilizedevilAug 25, 2010
Stones Throw in recent years has transformed from one of the best independent labels, with Madlib pumping out all sorts of solid music with his various projects, into absolute f**king garbage. Absolute. f**king. Garbage. How the hell are James Pants and Dam-Funk two of your biggest artists? They are novelty acts for the LA hipster scene. What happened to you guys?
Closed AccountAug 25, 2010
but what we really need is the clearance to grow it legallly :)
howedAug 25, 2010
thats my point, and its still better than this, but rap on man everyone has the right to be heard.
