I live here in Memphis and part of the reason is that it's a huge party. They close a 4 lane divided street and people lounge around drinking beer and watching Elvis movies on big screens. It's not my thing, but if you turn something into a party some people will latch on to it.
Huge money for the City of Memphis but I would just as soon those freaks stay home.
