This is why digg sucks. You get all your crap from cracked.com. Everything off that page is dog s**t. Also the cell phone analogy breaks down pretty easily considering they purposely make those contracts impossible to understand so that the charges that apply aren't always so easily definable. Which is why people call and complain.

6. Don't like the answer you got? Call back and ask someone else.
Call centers have these things called computers. These computers automatically load your account info for the rep who takes your call. Every rep notes your account with the reason you called and what we say to you. So calling over and over to get that late fee removed is going to be no every time, especially when we see you've been told no multiple times.
7. When all else fails, lie.
Ties in with number 6. Saying that the last guy told you that you can have a free iPhone doesn't mean we will give you a free iPhone. And trying to be vague about when you were 'told' such a thing wont work either. Also skip trying to say that a store rep said you can have it, if that's the case then why not go to the store and get it?
