s**t my dad says looks terrible.
cubineAug 6, 2010
I really like the blog but yeah, not looking like a great show.
firecellAug 6, 2010
Don't make me re-shoot your ass.
doshindudeAug 6, 2010
The s**t My Dad Says twitter barely has enough content for one episode, let alone an entire damn series.
benroyAug 6, 2010
That's what I thought about My Name Is Earl. But that show went on to have several hilarious seasons. I'll withhold judgment until it airs.
raystantzAug 6, 2010
Twitter is not good source material for anything of substance or value to society.
deslockAug 6, 2010
@RayStantz
You did see all the Old Spice Guy stuff right? And you know that was all scripted from crazy twitter responses.

If you read the book that Halpurn wrote you would see that there is more depth to the relationship between him and his Dad. The Twitter hits are just the nuggets in between the story. The reason the show is going to fail, besides Shatners presence is the fact that the dad uncensored words are what carry the tweets as well as the book and when you look at it, the heart of the character.
meribianAug 6, 2010
Meh. The only show I'm anticipating is Dexter.
michaelgurbiszAug 6, 2010
Don't shoot the pilots!!! Who's flying the fking plai
changedmindAug 6, 2010
WHat the hell did these pilots do to anyone? This is why they need to be able to carry in the c**kpit.
benroyAug 6, 2010
Dear god, I hope you're kidding.
confoundedjoeAug 6, 2010
No He Is Not.
Now please exit the internet.
brezzzAug 6, 2010
These were the pilots in the LOST pilot. They caused the plane to crash, and now Ben and Sayid are taking revenge.
mynameisgustoAug 6, 2010
Actually Lapidus was quite good at making planes not crash.
mynameisgustoAug 6, 2010
Nevermind you said in the pilot. Desmond crashed their plane, not the pilots.
absinthminded64Aug 6, 2010
I don't watch any new shows from any network. The chances of those new shows getting canceled are higher than my chances of losing a dollar bill at a strip club. I'm not going to go getting into a new TV show only to have it go away after a season.
confoundedjoeAug 6, 2010
Just like how you won't get into a relationship because it isn't guaranteed to result in marriage and a long life together? Who'd want all that sex without the guarantee it will continue for at least 10 seasons, I mean years.
sjbdallasAug 6, 2010
Yeah, cause TV execs know what we want to watch.
hipmanAug 6, 2010
Obviously yes since you do watch.
grabateAug 6, 2010
4 shows I have no intention of watching.
downisthenewupAug 6, 2010
s**t My Dad Says is going to die real fast once the joke gets old. Just like that show about the mullet brothers.
blumarlin1Aug 6, 2010
Mitch Hurwitz + Will Arnett + David Cross = must see TV
raystantzAug 6, 2010
Must See TV? 1998? I'm about to get all middle school jiggy wit it up in this bitch and start slow dancing with every girl that's grown some tittays. All we need is some Backstreet Boys and sweater vests up in this piece and we'll be rollin with homey's watchin Clinton talk about blow jay's till we run out of Surge. Word to your mother.
arcapexAug 6, 2010
Mitch Hurwitz, Jim Vallely, Will Arnett, David Cross and Keri Russell?
This should be awesome! But the trailers for Running Wilde on youtube makes it look pretty bad :(.

I'm not going to be watching any of these shows...
jprezAug 6, 2010
I work in Cable TV production and let me tell you, networks f**king BLOW! They don't know what they want and thats why 2009 was the worst year for independent production companies. Canceling series', Not signing deal, verbally agreeing with businesses then revoking contracts. It's bulls**t.
jabbrwockeyAug 6, 2010
This is Digg, not soccer mom central or a PTA meeting. Why is this front page?
jkalAug 6, 2010
I agree with your sentiment, however as Digg user base grows deep it also grows wide, so now there is a broader range of the population as Digg users, we will start to see tabloid, celeb material more and more.
FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!!!!!!!!
designetAug 6, 2010
totally agree ... although i AM going to google 'soccer mom central' :D

emjayseaAug 6, 2010
If you rework them until they're polished, can you really still call them pilot episodes?
canadianmacfanAug 6, 2010
Not going to watch them. Prefer shows from the UK like Sherlock. Though there's a decent one called This is Not My Life from New Zealand that looks interesting.
