Wow, that looked bad. Cheesy one liners from Dane Cook lookalike for two hours. The whole thing gave me the same vibe as the Fantastic Four trailer did, and we all know how well that turned out...Comment is buried, click here to see the rest.

Hey look, it's the Human Torch and Iron Man combined! But he's green! Seriously, I hope this is better than it appears to be right now. The Oa scenes do look awesome though.

This looks completely awful. I'm all about staying with the origins and being true to a story but I think they needed to make some modifications to this to make it work on film.

The Green Lantern planet looks something like Autobot Heaven form Transformers 2.

I think the Green Lantern who crash landed came from the same plant as these guys.

I don't even know what to say about Hector Hammond other than ask how a Director let's that happen.

Lastly, after watching Ryan Reynolds (who I actually like) make 10 romantic comedies in a row I'm not sure I'm buying him as a super hero. They seem to be trying to mimmick Tony Stark's personality which is dumb.Comment is buried, click here to see the rest.

I think it's more the fault of the genre that so many stories follow the premise of "Average guy has life-changing event that bestows super powers on him, and turns him into the ultimate crime-fighter".

If you can look past that, I think the trailer looks fantastic. It does show a character arc, and that's the foundation of a great story.
