Miss Saigon was boring in my opinion. I saw that on Broadway and it nearly put me to sleep. Even the cast looked bored.
Phantom of the Opera was outstanding though.

Um.....no...just no. Phantom is a mediocre musical score, supported by flashy special effects. There are many many many superior shows.

Well, Mike, since you have seen many more than I have, I will take your word for it.
I LOVED Phantom of the Opera, however, the fact that I won the tickets and had a fantastic seat, I'm sure that had a lot to do with how much I enjoyed it. ;-)

fair enough, I didn't mean to devalue your experience, but keep in mind there are musical theatre experiences with much greater depth waiting for you.

Miss Saigon was my first show on Broadway proper. It was...ok. I'm glad I saw, since it seems to be an institution, but I've seen way better shows since.
