Forget it Microsoft is an Operatig system for Dummies and its Unix all the way and itis used as the Operating System by Cray Computer the only supercomputer made in the United States and appproved by NSA.gov and DARPA who must approve all new Technologies in he United States for obvvious National Security reasons.Comment is buried, click here to see the rest.

It's not just about the operating system, it's about the ide, tools, and languages.The way I see it is Microsoft's developer tools are top-notch and languages are powerful also i.e. C# and F# . Azure also is much more of a managed system. i.e. built in distributed cache, relation + non-relational databases and also blob storage. For amazon you have to pretty much do all that yourself. If you were building a supercomputer then sure Linux seems like a better choice. But we're talking about start-ups here.Comment is buried, click here to see the rest.
