Right. We are consumers. We're the bi-products of a lifestyle obsession.

Nothing wrong with credit cards if you aren't a flipping moron.
I have a rewards card with a $2,500 limit. Because of that limit, I put ALL of my bills on it since I would ordinarily have to pay them anyway.
Further, I buy all my gas, groceries, and other necessities with it, because that's what I would do with my debit card.
In fact, that's exactly how I treat it...... like a debit card. Except it gives me money back and improves my credit history. Because I treat it like a debit card (that is, I never spend money I don't currently have in the bank), I never carry a balance.
Thus to date, despite a high 25% APR, I have paid precisely $0.00 in interest, and thus have never spent more on something than it actually costs.
I even bought a TV with it, except what I did was SAVE UP FOR THE TV FIRST, THEN bought it with the credit card, just to get the points. When the bill came around, I had it covered.
Anyone who doesn't do this, is thick. It's actually really, really, really easy to use a credit card properly. It's easier than doing basic math.
All you have to ask yourself is this:
Do I want to pay $850 for something that actually only costs $500? If you answer yes, you're a moron and should probably be rendered sterile before you breed and pass on your retard fish frog monkey butt sex genes.

I have credit card's but I don't use them even tho I have a card rate of 9%.
I have the card's as a "prop". As you can't rent car's with out a credit card.
But playing the point's game with credit card's is a fools game.
All it takes is one slip up. loose this months bill, get sick, forget to put a stamp on the this months bill. lose your job.
The bank's don't care.. they know it will happen and when it does here come the ass rapeing fee's.
Unless your rich, there are only 2 thing's you should buy on credit, a home and a car.
Don't play the credit card game.

Nah I do online banking. And even with that, there's a 25 day grace period after the bill comes out. No need to mail anything, or forget. I do it the day I get the bill, and I always have the fund available.
It requires minimal discipline.
Also you can rent cars with a debit card. I've done so many times. If you don't have sufficient funds to cover the security deposit, the agency will just use a reasonable amount. I was able to rent a car from Enterprise with just a $25 security deposit because all I had in my account at the time was $50.

Just say no to credit card debt.
