Hm... People still trying to demonize Toyota even after several people got caught lying about how their car accelerated out of control. There might have been one or two that were legitimate, however, there were even more that were outright lies to scam the company. Makes you wonder if their partnering up with Tesla Motors has anything to do with the constant attempts at smearing their reputation. Imagine a big company like this that's capable of producing thousands of cars a year, begin shelling out EV's at the same rate. All this news about them having this sudden-acceleration problem... what major car company hasn't had this issue at least once?

Because we should support american cars because we nuked japan, pollute out environment to the brink of extinction, invade countries with out reason and allow whaling in alaska. Sounds good man.

Don't quote me on this, but it I was told that over 90% of the problem with the toyota cars were actually user error, and not the companies fault. Which does reinforce my theory that I live a country full of idiots.
