RIM = Palm and they will suffer the same fate.

1) the product was to expensive to buy and use. If you ever had one you more than likely had it issued to you from your company.
2) Not everyone uses Microsoft exchange anymore. it has great integration with exchange no one cares.
3) wifi and cellular wireless is a lot better now. Need to connect back to the office or to home. Just drive up to just about anywhere and get freewifi.
4) messaging and notification all phones do this now.. for 1/3 the price..
5) The os running on the RIM is do like 2001.. app's on other phones make the RIM's a non starter.
Don't change with the times you'll get lefted behind.

Wait, executives at a company actually being affected by the company doing badly? That's practically un-American!

FYI, RIM is a Canadian company.

As corporates start moving to Ipads and Iphones, the fight for RIMM will only get harder. Already many companies allow corporate email on the iphone via good.com

Well, this is what happens when you have formidable competitors (Apple and Google) who take the time, to find out the needs and wants of your market.
Competitors, who because you took your customers for granted, now have very deep pockets to keep delighting your customers, thus taking them away from you! :)
