First week sales are meaningless since they are based on expectations rather than actual quality of product. Hell, just look at how fast Charlie Sheen tickets sold.
I am not saying that the 3DS will be a failure. Just saying that looking at first week numbers don't mean anything since most of those people have never seen one before, let alone tested it out.Comment is buried, click here to see the rest.

The two things it has going for it are its 3D display and solid augmented reality. Unfortunately the display managed to make my eyes feel more strained after playing a 2.5 minute game demo than after watching Avatar in 3D. I'd honestly wear glasses to play it than have the glasses-less screen and want to gouge my eyes out.
