I have seen a non-fico based credit score be almost 40 points different from a real fico. If you are getting a free score it may be worth to check out but a real fico is what decisions are based on for loans and credit.

The great thing about creditsesame.com is that it is free. All other websites ask you to provide credit card information.

I monitor my credit score currently on experiandirect.com and Credit Sesame showed my credit score as almost 30 points higher even though Credit Sesame states "Your credit score, total loans and debt info are provided by Experian" at the bottom of the page.

How accurate is Credit Sesame for anyone else? I am excited to see a free service, kind of like mint.com except for credit, but I am fearful it isn't accurate enough?
