Oh, doesn't your heart just bleed for those poor, rich people.

It's interesting how an article can be so well written that we can almost feel the pain of these people and how they fear they might lose the marjority of their wealth and be left with nothing but a middle class home and two cars in an average suburb. They would still not feel the worries of where to get their next meal, but they would lose a lot of power.... which is never fun :(
Then there are people who are so just financially irresponsibile, they are deeply invested with all their money, they could lose everything and go bankrupt if the goverment makes one wrong move and take away their tax breaks. I would feel manipulated and almost blackmailed, trying to to make me feel sorry for them when they handle money like that.

Wow, two comments and they are both hating on rich people. The Democratic Party is wonderful at being divisive and inciting "class warfare". Take a look at your paycheck. Who's it signed by? Do they make more money than you, or less? If they lose a lot of money, who do you think that next check will be made out to? You?
Let's take a good honest look at this: If less rich people and institutions hadn't gotten all pass-the-buck-happy on all these credit default swaps and knew what they were really getting into, we may not have had a nearly a big problem. My wife and I could see that this was going to crash before it did. Honestly, what the hell good is an ARM when rates are near historical lows and you know your payment can and will only go up? Why would get ever get a interest-only loan on their home?
Good investments by rich people create jobs. Bad investments kill jobs. And the best government can do is to not be an obstacle to anyones success.

This article was specifically written about Heirs and Heiresses. Not wealthy business tycoons or corporate CEO's. Chances are, if these people had grown up having to actually WORK for money, they'd understand a bit more about how to generate and maintain it. But they didn't. They inherited it. If they had the business sense to start companies or create jobs some other way, they'd probably have the financial sense to manage their wealth and wouldn't need these camps. They're not "job creators" as the Republicans like to say. They're just looking to stay rich and keep spending.
They're concerned that they may lose 50% of their $100million dollar wealth. Boo f**kin' hoo.

Yeah, we should just take it from the over privileged f**kers now. Right?
eyecomeanonOct 10, 2010
Nope. Their parents earned it and have every right to pass it along. I'm just not gonna cry in my cereal because some rich person only has $50million to live off of for the rest of their life rather than $100million.

What? You want the 50% of us Americans who are trying to get by on just 2.5% of this county's wealth to feel sorry for you poor little rich people? The top 10% of you have 72.5% of this county's wealth, and you want us to feel sorry for you?
There is class warfare going on all right, and you rich people are winning it.

I attended one of these camps this summer.
It was decent; though the wait-staff at the cafeteria
were poorly trained. Darned if I will believe the
chef was even french.
But we did macrame, and archery, and made jewelry out
of some decent stones (I did an 8-carot diamond broach for mom
but it got lost in the mail, bother it).
At sunset we sat around the camp fire and had the
evening staff sing songs for us; 'row-row-row my boat',
and 'I've got six billion pence', and 'this is land is my land,
this land is my land'.
Good times! except for the afternoon lectures on how to manipulate
the poorer classes with fears of being called a commie,
so that they won't start thinking of us as parasites,
instead of the natural masters Providence had chosen
to pee our excess cash upon.
I kissed a girl behind the boating house but I had
to promise to vote for Palin. I lied; I think she is tacky.
Palin I mean not the girl.
