Food prices in ALL World nations will likely see rise of 20%. There is guilt all around. From the simply offensive (like Monsanto creating non-reproductive plants) through socio-communist meddling (ex. eliminating productive agriculture in Zimbabwe by "taking from the rich to give to the poor") and Global Warmist cult (supporting usage of food [corn] to make energy instead of drilling for oil to drive tractors and grow more food) to simple personal irresponsibility (what is the birth rate in food deprived nations? what is the birth rate in countries where there is no food shortage? ... no BS about birth control and education, any half caring person who knows he/she can't feed/support the child would abstain from having it - they do not care).

I'm curious if there is any correlation between this epidemic and the ever-growing demand for "environmentally friendly" ethanol fuel. I would think burning food for fuel would be an effective way to increase the price.
