Yeah, just let someone else deal with it.
realcoolguy9022Jan 25, 2011
"This study confirms that what private sector institutions need in order to become real 'adaptation catalysts' is objective and reliable information."
When they get that information, I imagine you will have nearly 0 institutions integrating climate change into their business model.
5urr3al5amJan 27, 2011
oh they mean the 'man made global warming' that gore is making hundreds of millions off of?
missothmarJan 25, 2011
Hard to believe, given how well prepared they were for the 2008 financial crisis. /s
FirstMackerelJan 27, 2011
It seems to me that most of them were well-prepared for the 2008 financial crisis--just transfer all losses to the middle and lower classes through taxes, call the government bailout money profits, and collect bonuses. The same will work in this instance too.
bobosmitorJan 25, 2011
They don't want to take some responsibility, so they will probably suffer as a result of this mistake.
biofriendlyblogJan 26, 2011
Yes they probably will, but will they learn from their mistake? Time will tell...
NewsMeBackJan 26, 2011
They can discuss as much as they want but climate changes won't wait on them to decide.

solution: when its cold you turn on heat, when its hot your turn on air. problem solved
quadeJan 26, 2011
Climate change isn't real.
muffcakesJan 27, 2011
I think you need to type it two more times and click your heals together before it will come true. Best of luck!
quadeJan 27, 2011
Magic isn't real, either.
I'll pray to Jesus instead.
norman619Jan 26, 2011
They deal with the "risks" of climate change on a daily basis. Climate change is constant. Our climate is dynamic. It is constantly changing.

it changed here today from rainy to sunny
norman619Jan 27, 2011
That's actually weather.
muffcakesJan 27, 2011
Right now it just happens to be changing at an unnatural pace that potentially could devastate civilization.
norman619Jan 27, 2011
Bulls**t. Scientists haven been able to prove the changes are "unnatural" yet you seem to think you can? LOL!!!
muffcakesJan 27, 2011
You're being silly. Nothing can be proven 100% but the vast majority of scientists are confident AGW is real. There are mountains of evidence supporting this. The mechanisms are well understood. I just trust the experts with their reasonable story because there is no (plausible) reason that I'm aware of for them to lie. LOL? Well ROTFLOL to you. Double ROTFLOL to you.
davidnivenJan 26, 2011
Not so sure that there is this so-called climate change.
Check out how these scientists lied and manipulated data to "prove" that such a thing is real:

Even the founder of Greenpeace thinks that these enviro-nuts are insane liars.Comment is buried, click here to see the rest.

How about posting something credible for once and not just some site that sounds good to you. I can start a blog too. Maybe Douchbagblog.com where we talk about you... but would it be true, even if it sound good to most of us?
davidnivenJan 27, 2011
OK. How about these:
http://earthpro.info
http://www.climatechangedispatch.com
http://www.globalclimatescam.com
By the way, is credibility only something that occurs when you agree with the arguments and conclusions on that site?
equinox2o12Jan 27, 2011
No. Credibility occurs is when the data collected points to a conclusion that is within a high percentage of accuracy.
We are going through climate change. Is it man made? Lets say its not... we are still going through climate change and we are not helping the earth correct the problem. Climate change is inevitable and we must be prepared... regardless.
mksmothersJan 26, 2011
Financial sectors deal with REAL risks, climate change isn't one of them.
equinox2o12Jan 27, 2011
Finance is not REAL risk. Money is nothing more than ideas given value and backed by promises. Nature deals with the physical realm... Fire, Earth, Wind and Water. Change any element and you have imbalance. Try putting out a forest fire with cash or halt a hurricane with sacks of gold. You can not bribe the earth out of its machinations anymore than you can shoot the sun out of the sky with a shotgun.
scarredupJan 27, 2011
except that even the insurance industry has recognized a noticeable of climate changing from how it has been historically.
scarredupJan 27, 2011
financial sector...prepared... when was that ever the case?
mbmusgroveJan 27, 2011
If being prepared is telling the groups of people still rallying about man-made climate change to drop dead, then I think they are adequately prepared.
pethanksJan 27, 2011
That is not a good news. They should be ready always.
