Good now bring me the 500 abarth!
Unregistered_CowardJun 4, 2011
Gotta love the fact that the American taxpayer shoveled money into a failing automaker just so it can be purchased by a foreign concern......and left us owing billions.
Had they been allowed to pursue the normal path of distress / bankruptcy, Fiat would still have probably picked them up, for far less, but then again. But that might have left the fat-cats in Cerebus holding the bag.
And Obama wouldn't have secured those precious union-votes.
wf80diditJun 4, 2011
Did you see Obama get booed yesterday at the Chrysler plant? He says some boneheaded things sometimes.

You ever hear of context ? Post the full video. Of course you wont, becuase he shows him getting standing ovations.
wf80diditJun 4, 2011
Nope. It was a Ron Burgundy teleprompter moment. No need to post the whole thing.
JonathonFishenatorJun 4, 2011
No need to provide context? Could you be any more retarded?
wf80diditJun 4, 2011
Ford didn't get a bailout. They seem to be doing just fine.
JonathonFishenatorJun 4, 2011
Google straw man and get back to me when you understand logic behind arguments
themantogotoJun 4, 2011
Not to mention it's Fiat... I've driven a bunch of their cars in Europe and I hated all of them really except the Fiat 500 but even that was kinda off to me maybe its just ugly
JonathonFishenatorJun 4, 2011
Uh... wtf do you want? He returned them to the free market, and you complain? Further evidence you people hate him as man and not his policies.
wf80diditJun 4, 2011
So we can be expecting checks in the mail for our investment anytime soon?
JonathonFishenatorJun 4, 2011
Good point, where are my checks for the wars? For the patriot act?
wf80diditJun 4, 2011
You mean the wars and patriot act that Bush III continued and expanded? That money is gone son. Maybe you should write the President a letter about that.
JonathonFishenatorJun 4, 2011
Two drawdowns and one stupid action? Please, and for your info the point is you dont have a right to take back tax dollars, nice straw man. Just so you know Id love to vote him out, but people like you worry me more than Obama. Ill take semi s**tty policies over your proven to fail mantra of ignorance.
wf80diditJun 4, 2011
You wanna continue to let them extort you then go ahead but the fact of the matter is We do have the right. We're the boss of the gov't not the other way around. If you don't understand that basic concept then there's no point in talking to you as you prove yourself to be a useful idiot for them.
The mantra I believe in is posted on my profile. You should check it out and follow it too. If I was President all this war nonsense and everything as a result of it never would've happened in the first place.
p.s. Stay off the kool-aide bud. The "drawdown" doesn't mean s**t, it's a bunch of hot air. We'll still be sending our troops to Iraq & Afghanistan 50 years from now. Look no further than Europe and the Pacific for proof of this. It's inconceivable to me that we would abandoned all those permanent bases we've been building over there this past decade.
JonathonFishenatorJun 4, 2011
So youre suggesting theres a serious conservative thats going to fix any of that? Ron Paul wont make it BTW, fox doesnt like people willing to put ideology over power. Im voting for Obama as a last ditch effort to keep people like the current GOPers from causing more damage, not because I agree with him completely.Comment is buried, click here to see the rest.
wf80diditJun 4, 2011
You think the guy's bad now wait till he gets his 2nd term. He won't have any reasons to hold back on his radical agenda. Kinda like Bush did. But go ahead, cast your vote for more of the same. That's the problem, that and the whole lesser of two evil logic trap we fall into each and every election season.
I'll give you credit. You're right about Fox and who they choose to give the nod to but I still believe Ron Paul can win. Especially now, considering the current field and America's mass awakening, this might be his best shot ever. Look at how many of his talking points have trickled down through to the mainstream media these past 3 years. There's no doubt in my mind he'd wipe the floors with Obama in a one-on-one debate if he made it that far. He'd leave him stuttering and stumbling all over himself once confronted with real questions he has no answer for.

"The U.S. government invested about $12.5 billion in Chrysler, and once its transactions with Fiat are completed, the feds will have received $11.2 billion of that back in the way of repayments, mixed with some loan forgiveness."
BUT I heard Osama say they got their money back. So a $1.3 Billion doesn't count?
JonathonFishenatorJun 4, 2011
Thats becuase they didnt sell the shares at a higher price, not becuase they werent paid back. Nice try tho :)
gkiltzJun 5, 2011
Both makes are known to have issues with durability. Might actually be a decent fit.
nancynathan21Jun 5, 2011
Hopefully, Fiat can help Chrysler get back on it's feet.
gogusholdingJun 5, 2011
opss..
sab0tageJun 4, 2011
You never know, Fiat might be able to get Chryslers to turn corners!
