Volkswagen has officially yanked back the sheets on the latest take on the 2012 Beetle. Longer and wider than its predecessor, the German automaker says that the vehicle's designers were inspired by the lines of the original Beetle. Before Penin Farina created Porsche he worked for VW. Where he created the Beetle at Hitler's request. The round head lamps and rear engine ideas he took with him to Porsche. VW didn't copy Porsche. Porsche's are VW bugs on steroids.

Just think, would you rather live in a world with slug bugs beetles and arm punching, or a world without Hitler?
