It's the beans. I just can't handle them.

Why do we suddenly need thousands of infographics to show vaguely uninteresting information!?! Most of which aren't that good, and don't even show the information in an easy to understand way.
For amazing information graphics go to http://feltron.com/Comment is buried, click here to see the rest.

Wait, so we eat 6.1 pounds of beans, 59.9 of chicken, 62.2 of beef, 10.9 of cheese, 28.3 of lettuce, 4.1 of guac, 20.5 of rice, and... 89.5 OF SALSA?? What the f**k kind of burritos are these? Salsa burritos with extra salsa??
daimposterJan 6, 2011
these stats look like they are the average per capita for all types of dishes...not just burritos. I could be off, but I just cant's see Salsa being that much...especially when many people don't eat it with salsa and salsa is less dense than most ingredients.
62lbs of beef in burritos is 1.2lbs per week. Who here eats enough burritos per week to average 1.2lbs? And that's the average.....which probably includes children and people who don't eat burritos.
kortoricanJan 9, 2011
I took a look at it again, and not to be rude, but I think they make it pretty clear that they're specifically talking about burritos. But seriously, these stats have to be off.
goweigusJan 6, 2011
pretty sure most americans don't get salsa in their burritos, I don't know about actual mexicans having burritos in mexico though
coldkatJan 6, 2011
the order of toppings is all wrong. should be tortilla, then:
1. rice or beans
2. same as above
3. meat (lots please)
4. salsa
5. guac
6. sour cream
7. cheese
8. lettuce
stockexJan 7, 2011
Leave out the lettuce and you've made yourself the perfect burrito.

in regard to number 3,... that's what she said :3

Cafe Rio >> Chipotle
bugmenot2Jan 6, 2011
That is the most proportionally inaccurate burrito I have ever seen.
thebudgetdietJan 6, 2011
Just started my New Year's diet, & I was thrilled to see that the Chipotle Burrito Bowl made the list (minus the cheese & rice)! I'm on day 4 of Cinch, and so far my stomach's not growling!
cuishi14Jan 6, 2011
Instead of getting extra meat I get extra everything else except meat. Get more food for the same price
odkinJan 7, 2011
Just Burritos? As I recall, the combination of meat, beans, cheese, tortillas and rice constitutes 95% of of all Mexican food.
nick727Jan 7, 2011
Order should be:
1. Beans
- To create your adhesive foundation
2. Rice
- So that the most scattered ingredient can stick to the beans and the beany paste can slip through to keep working its magic
- rice is also kind of sticky
3. cheese
-for the same reasons at 2.
yada yada, lettuce should be last. hot sauce can be optionally applied at the table. warm queso should also be inside that burrito.
but let my fury be know, I HATE IT WHEN I PAY MONEY FOR FOOD AT CHIPOTLE OR ANY OTHER BURRITO PLACE AND THEY ASSEMBLE IT LIKE A f**kING 7 COURSE MEAL WITH THE INGREDIENTS SITTING NEXT TO EACH OTHER, SO AS WHEN I EAT IT, I ONLY GET A BITE OF BEANS, THEN ONLY RICE, THEN ONLY MEAT, THEN ITS DONE. i mean come on, do i really have to explain to someone who makes burritos to spread that s**t out evenly. is that too much to ask for? wait, don't answer that -_-

totem pole burritos :(
