There are several that I see around town here (near Denver), enough that they are no longer a novelty. I don't think it's a styling issue, people will buy them if they have a use for them. Also, the diesel version is not available in the US and the fuel efficiency of the gasoline version is not exceptional.

these things arent even safe to drive. only a delusional yuppy would buy one of these. these are the cars for people that are too hipster to get a mini cooper so they skip strate to this gentlemenry.
