They flipped through their cds; Cannibal Corpses, Anthrax, Megadeth, then came good ole PSB. They all looked up at each other with a slim grin and a continuous nod at one another and they all sat back in the bean bag chairs, waiting for Kerry to make his move to the 4,000 watt stereo system with his cylindrical disk of good memories. The first track they put on was of course as any avid fan of PSB would know was the single "West End Girls". They all turned to me and began with "THIS is how we start the show, THIS is how we ***** destroy the crowd, THIS is how we make the crowd destroy itself!". That night in Belgium was one of the most memorable nights of my life, namely because I lost my right leg from the knee down after getting it mangled in a metal security barrier when trying to crowd surf. Moral of the story, don't let a name like Pet Shop Boys fool you, it could end up inspiring great things.
