Man, I hate cancer. - blackinthmiddle, on 01/15/2009, -0/+9A very touching story. He seems like a genuinely good guy and father. Hopefully he remains strong.
- blakbot, on 01/15/2009, -0/+6A very good man, with a soaring spirit........Super accomplished, and supremely talented. Brother Wayman is the MAN!
- jimmies, on 01/15/2009, -0/+6There's a description of who he is right here in digg, you know, below the link?

- inactive, on 01/15/2009, -1/+5Wayman Tisdale is a man! Watch the video next time instead of looking at the damn caption.
- EpicSelekta, on 01/15/2009, -2/+5It's a youtube video... reading not required.
- Clark3934, on 01/15/2009, -0/+3Wayman Tisdale is one of the most outgoing and nicest men in the world. Even after his amputation, he can still light up a room with his personality.
The doctors said it was going to be months before he would be able to walk with his new leg, but he was able to walk within weeks. He has an unbelievable drive.
Most of this is coming from my mom, who cleans his teeth. - RayDogg, on 01/15/2009, -0/+3Anybody into Jazz should check him out, as RavynX states he rocks the bass
- RavynX, on 01/15/2009, -0/+3Wayman Tisdale rocks on the bass. Grats to his career and his victory over cancer. =)
- woodsjransom, on 01/16/2009, -0/+2There is not a smooth jazz radio station anywhere in the US that does not play his music. I had no idea he had cancer. All that talking that they do on the radio and not a word about the cancer.
- deema1, on 01/16/2009, -0/+2Wayman Tisdale always seemed like such an amazing, stand-up guy. I was happy to hear he had success with music after basketball. I'm even happier to hear he survived his ordeal with cancer. More people should be as positive and inspirational as he is.
- DOmeN, on 01/15/2009, -0/+2I had not been aware of him before this, but it's a powerful and inspirational story.
- EpicSelekta, on 01/15/2009, -1/+3I'm happy as long as his hands and brain still work... that man plays some mean piccolo bass.
- KILLERB00TSMAN, on 01/15/2009, -1/+2My daddy listens to him ^_^
- mgadalsky, on 02/11/2009, -0/+1Very useful. What an epatage! http://drinkster.info
- devfeed, on 02/11/2009, -0/+1Very useful. I don't like such articles. http://homemasters.info
- djphatd, on 01/19/2009, -0/+1Wayman Tisdale is an amazing man....his music is so soulful and personal. His story is an amazing celebration of the human spirit. He reminds us all to appreciate what really matters in life, the love of our family and friends.
- credential101, on 01/15/2009, -7/+7So what, Magic Johnson defeated HIV.
- inactive, on 01/15/2009, -1/+1I did that on purpose. really.
- BitKid, on 01/16/2009, -1/+1My roomate had the same thing happen to him. I just found out about it the other day. He always wears jeans so I never would have thought that he had his leg amputated or had cancer. I walked out into the kitchen the other night and he was hopping across the floor on his good leg going to the fridge. I about fainted because I was so surprised. I've lived with the guy 8 months and had no clue.
- JaredMcCammon, on 01/15/2009, -2/+2Of course there's a bass guitar in your garage, Token.
- mattbrad2, on 01/15/2009, -1/+0Because he mentioned that he put his faith in God..
Diggnation didn't know how to respond to such a horrific comment. - inactive, on 01/15/2009, -4/+2It works approximately by having ~350 spammer friends digging each other's stories with scripts. Just look at any front page submission and try finding one submitter that has less than 300 friends.
- detroitplaya, on 01/15/2009, -13/+9107 diggs and FP with no comments. i smell some powerdiggery goin on in here....
- Kurto2021, on 01/15/2009, -8/+4ummm...this is old news....why is this on front page? I saw this on ESPN like 3 months ago.
and I agree....107 diggs and no comments....how does this damn site work?
Although I admit it is a great story....just odd that it is here. - TheKitchenSinkX, on 01/15/2009, -7/+2Who cares?
- Garlik, on 01/15/2009, -6/+1Way to go Man, This Day'll be a great day for you.
- inactive, on 01/15/2009, -7/+1she started eating raw foods and drinking filtered water and got plenty of vitamin D through exposure to sunlight. that's how you beat cancer.
- DanBoodro, on 01/15/2009, -7/+1This has nothing to do with the story, but I just remembered this one from a while back
