Warner Music pushes for higher Royalties from Video Games

ft.com — Warner Music is pushing to extract higher royalties from video games such as Guitar Hero and Rock Star, it said Thursday, as record labels and music publishers seek to avoid repeating mistakes made at the launch of MTV and the iPod.

  • Orlandin, on 08/07/2008, -0/+0It is sad when the industry goes after the only saving grace to some of it's music. Rock Band and Guitar Hero breathed new life into some of these artists, and there is no doubt that the sales of these groups have increased dramatically.
