- brandnewx, on 09/29/2009, -0/+24It takes WMG a financial meltdown to realize the value of YouTube dollars.
- jaybol, on 09/29/2009, -1/+20It takes a long time to upload videos via their 56k modem
- spanky6256000, on 09/29/2009, -1/+15Channels will be up by the end of the year? Why not instantly? Flip the switch.
- MScrip, on 09/29/2009, -0/+14It's funny, in a time when you can't see music videos on TV anymore, that Warner would *not* put their videos on the largest video site in the world.
Well, at least they wised up. - Turkman182, on 09/29/2009, -1/+11I miss the music video. Well, the good music videos. Wait, did I contradict myself?
- abajaj2280, on 09/29/2009, -0/+9***** Warner Music Group, even if they opened up their music onto Youtube.
- djcflo, on 09/29/2009, -0/+7nice, so will my account get UNbanned? WMG shut me down for "infringement..." because I am a Video DJ... one of my video remixes had 880,000 views!!! REINSTATE MY ACCOUNT
- sgfreak784, on 09/29/2009, -0/+7Thanks for finally getting around to that you greedy bastards. Glad your fans are so important.
- falafelkiosken, on 09/29/2009, -1/+6their lawyers just have to finish their circlejerk first
- Kaiosama, on 09/29/2009, -0/+4Does this mean they'll finally unmute music videos made using Warner music?
- mithrasinvictus, on 09/29/2009, -0/+3It's a lot cheaper than payola and legal too.
- stevieraveon, on 09/29/2009, -0/+3http://www.mtvmusic.com/
Love the redundant URL...but it has all the classic videos.. I wish they didn't have the 10 second ads before the video, though. - InactiveUser, on 09/30/2009, -0/+3***** the RIAA

Rihanna - Don't Stop The Music, 99,440,475 views
Chris Brown - With You, 98,360,660 views
They can't afford to act slowly. I'm normally on the side of giving a little bit of grace to companies where grace is due, but keeping your artists off of YouTube seems to border insanity. - riverstyx, on 09/29/2009, -0/+2"Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me."
- op12, on 09/29/2009, -0/+2It's not redundant...who thinks of music when they think of MTV in the last decade?
- howdareyou, on 09/29/2009, -0/+2Plus they probably need time to u/l content. If they flipped the switch instantly and there were only a couple of vidoes available, people would be a lot less likely to bookmark the channel.
- bkm72, on 09/29/2009, -0/+1Edgar Bronfman is a douche bag of the highest order
- xsecretfiles, on 09/29/2009, -0/+1Wait what's the difference if we can still see its Group labels?
- inactive, on 09/29/2009, -0/+1Not ALL the classic videos there are alot missing from artists.
- inactive, on 09/29/2009, -1/+2People need to realize big companies can be like the government, bureaucratic and can sometimes react slowly. Just because a company is not instantly jumping into the digital game for instance doesn't mean the suits at top are old and out of touch, rather they want to go in and make sure they get their cut and are not just letting their IP be pimped out for some other companies profits.
- dombaj, on 10/07/2009, -0/+1The users had a lot to say to WMG. I've just posted a digg for a video that sums it all up:
http://digg.com/music/The_WMG_story_parental_guida ... - fuzzynyanko, on 09/29/2009, -0/+1I use youtube whenever someone recommends a reasonable song to me to check it out. So yeah, it's a good idea.
- whomod, on 09/29/2009, -0/+1Yep. MTV.com is pretty much useless in video content unless you're talking about top 40/R&B stuff. Most of the time i go there hoping to find something, I'm disappointed to see they only have 1 video if any from artists I like. And it's not like i have really obscure tastes either. You'd think alternative acts and 80's/90's era postpunk/indie acts that can also be categorized as "new wave" would at least get some attention beyond 1 video if at all.
- Saquedon, on 09/29/2009, -0/+1Great expect alot of: " This video is not available in your country"
- astrotrain, on 09/30/2009, -0/+1MTV died off years ago, along with VH1. They now just show Reality Shows, and junk, instead of Music Videos 24/7.
Nothing like it was back in the 80's and 90's, when you had pretty much music videos all the time, with an occasional tv show (Liquid Television, or Remote Control).
When VH1 was born, it was supposed to take the old content from MTV (80s videos, etc) and be the new "Oldies" video station.
Now its just as bad as MTV. - astrotrain, on 09/30/2009, -0/+1AdBlock Plus and ads are gone from YouTube..I got tired of seeing ads in the botom of the videos...
The primary YouTube ad server address to add into AdBlock:
http://ad-yt-bfp.doubleclick.net/* - kozyshack, on 09/30/2009, -0/+1Yawn.
- astrotrain, on 09/30/2009, -0/+1Although yes their music will be returning to YouTube, it will most likely be under their own "channel", and they still have the right to mute/remove non authorized fan videos.
Too bad WGM and YouTube don't realize that Fan made videos using their music promotes people to go purchase their music. There are some real in-depth fan vidoes that kinda "stick" that tune into your head. - Nyaasee, on 09/30/2009, -0/+1what? Warner Music Videos/ Channels were gone?
who gives a *****. and what's the holdup, does WMG have to wait for someones firstborn to sacrifice? - ngmcs8203, on 09/29/2009, -0/+1Youtube does too.
- MisterEThoughts, on 09/30/2009, -0/+1Finally! Good news!
- MarcosMoralez, on 09/29/2009, -1/+0wow this is aweome!!
