- slayerab, on 10/10/2007, -2/+87Sure wish digg had a video section...
- webcure, on 10/10/2007, -1/+31Yes he was an amazing drummer. He played drums on lots of his older records - Innervisions and others. He is one of the real masters of music!
Little Stevie Wonder. Yea man. I digg it! - h3ndrix, on 10/10/2007, -12/+41"Who knew he could tear up the drums too......"
Anyone who actually gives a ***** about music. - Moetownslick, on 10/10/2007, -1/+22a musical genius, plain and simple.
- xtraa, on 10/10/2007, -0/+16Well. You may look normal, but you are an insignificant, nameless looser. So STFU if you think music is all about the look.
- rediculous, on 10/10/2007, -1/+15Stevie Wonder could play just about every instrument. He was exceptionally talented and a very nice man.
- dpcdomino, on 10/10/2007, -0/+11Man is a musical maniac. He puts present musical "talents" to shame.
- TheTaoOfBill, on 10/10/2007, -0/+11Who the ***** cares how he moves!? If it helps him play like that he can do the macarena for all i care!
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+10No he is not. You are definitely not a musician.
- FRANKeB, on 10/10/2007, -0/+102 Words. BAD *****.
- LintShaver, on 10/10/2007, -1/+10This just no stopping that guy! Thats talent.
- RoroCo, on 10/10/2007, -4/+12"Who knew he could tear up the drums too......"
Seeing as this video appears to be filmed in the 60s... I would imagine quite a few people - myself and most everyone I know included - knew he could drum. I mean...word did spread around pre-YouTube you know. - acyork, on 10/10/2007, -0/+8most people don't realize how fortunate they are to see such greatness in their lifetime.
- rediculous, on 10/10/2007, -0/+7I meant "is" not "was"
- zabouth, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6i give a ***** about music but i did not know this
- gimlik, on 10/10/2007, -1/+7It would be great if any link to youtube.com was automatically placed in the VIDEO's section. Since the submitter are too moronic, make this a static rule in your article submission process. Link: youtube.com/blahblah ......... BAM, that goes to the video section.
- Wolfie351, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6I'm a little concerned that people are surprised he's a good drummer. Real musicians can actually PLAY instruments. Unlike all the actors and models who are pretending to be musicians these days.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -1/+6Almost everyone knows he can tear up the drums. he plays drums on most of his records, at least the ones that matter, and there is that famous bootleg of him playing drums with jimi hendrix!
- mvone, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5"You betta not let me catch ya makin fun of Stevie Wonda Motha F--ka, Stevie Wonda's a musical genius."
- E. Murphy - RoroCo, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5donsmith you apparently are the reason /sarcasm tags were invented.
- sourwood, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5We will never get a photo section if you idiots can't even use the video section.
- themastersb, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4This is the kind of thing I would expect to be in the videos section and only be able to make front page in the videos section.
- bwinebarger, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4Speechless.
- Sandurz, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4Goddamn that was ***** sweet.
This kind of solo appeals to me more than like anything Mike Portnoy or Neal Peart do.
Just straight up grooving and no "check this out it's in 15/4 and I blast on the double bass through all of it". - monkeyod, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4Just listen to 'Superstition' - That's Stevie on the drums...an notice how he mixes up the rhythm. The guys a master of music...sung and played.
- TheMeatball, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4Stevie is a legend. There are very few artists of his caliber around today.
- fuzzynyanko, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3It's amazing. The dude's blind and he's just doing an awesome job.
- TwwIX, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Go Stevie!
- murphygr, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3love stevie, love him
- Yondelldude, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Truly a musical genius.
- drethedog, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Thank God they have that in video.... That's a Priceless piece of music history....
- heythisismyname, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3i logged in just to digg this.... amazing
- vinbob, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Stevie played all the instruments on the Innervisions album.
He was also one of the first artists to 'humanize' the synthesizer. - YoctoYotta, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4It's called feeling the music, you ass.
- duggtodeath, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3I wish I could see that.
- dandyhighwayman, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4I did.
- MercedRocks, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4Didnt know "giving a ***** about music" and Stevie Wonder were so intertwined. :)
- mrtapeworm, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2I think Stevie played just about everything on his great '70s records. Guitar, clavinet, bass, etc. His producers programmed the synths (Margoulieff and the other guy), which looked partially like old phone operator boards back then.
- themastersb, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Kevin said that a photo section is coming though
- eleece722, on 10/10/2007, -2/+4You gotta have respect for extremely talented people with disabilities like Stevie Wonder. The drummer behind him is probably thinking, " DAMN this blind dude just owned me 500 times!"
- NextGenXbox, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2WOW!
- merdiesel, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Not surprised at all...
The man is easily one of the greatest musicians of our time. - ausfahrt, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3WOW!
- ChineseRoom, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Doesnt matter, video section is there for a reason, ***** use it.
- worthone, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2The whole album Talking Book.
- binorgog, on 08/07/2008, -0/+2It's Stevie Wonder July here at Digg!! "Hotter than July", maybe?
- mobber, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2whenever i get into the 'best 5 drummers' discussion, i always throw in stevie wonder. why? cause he was better than 75% of the drummers always mentioned & blind.
there is video of him somewhere in the 70's of doing superstition>higher ground (or vica versa) on the drums & just tears it up. way better than this. - lhughey, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Stevie Wonder will be mentioned hundreds of years from now as one of the best and most important musical artists in modern history.
- guzziguy, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Incredible drummer - Enough said.
A real musical treasure. -
