- MLisa, on 03/05/2009, -0/+9Do you guys have any clue as to how the Beatles and Stones changed the world? Before they came on the scene everything was put into 'boxes.' They opened peoples minds. They were a liberating force. Force. The Beatles brought new ideas into the the world. Explore, imagine, change your life...Go for it and try new things. This was at a time of post WW II kids becoming teenagers. The Boomers growing up with standard 'family values.' The Beatles and Stones, plus Dylan, Janis, Doors, Hendrix... Changed the world as we knew it. They changed it for the better, more than any elected politician has ever done.
- pinkukeftw, on 03/05/2009, -2/+11The headline should read "some one dumb enough to let Keith Richards get near there head with scissors"

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/picturegalleries/c ... - Pasaris, on 03/05/2009, -0/+1But were they candid photos of the band with their guard? Or just some ***** paparrazzi shots.
- ProfessorRiffs, on 03/05/2009, -0/+1Things are still put into boxes, and there are artists out there expanding the minds of many. If people would stop going totally ape-nards (Wolfman's got nards?) about things that have already happened (Beatles & Stones, et al), they could discover a whole world of current music that pushes boundaries and expands minds just as much as any music from any other time period. Obsessing over the past gives one a pretty narrow view of the present and future of music.
p.s. I totally love the Beatles, I'm just sayin' is all. - Rhythmismt, on 03/05/2009, -2/+3What the *****?
