I don't know if there any one album to start with, but there's a sorta 'best of / most of' album called The Whole Story - that has a song or two from each of her first few albums. Her crazy experimental album "The Dreaming" is brilliant but can be hard for someone who's never heard her before. Have fun.

The thing about Kate Bush is she's a real musical artist, creating her own path, dreaming up new directions, trying out new things - usually with meticulous care. A copy is like the second man to walk on the moon, less impressive; no matter how good the step.
