What first led me to lose respect for this narcissistic pop artist: his Feb 9, 2006 cover of Rolling Stone, depicting West with the thorns of Jesus on his head. That is so arrogant, regardless of personal religious belief.

1. The guy can't rhyme for *****.
2. The guy appears to have no rhythm: Most of the time, his lyrics don't even fit into the beat of the song. If you can't rhyme, you should at least be able to speak IN RHYTHM. I mean, you're supposed to be a rapper, right?
3. What cadence he does have is the same lilting, whiny delivery verse after verse, song after song.

I've listened to oldies, metal, rock, rap, pop, indie, chill music, acoustic music, jazz, musical soundtracks, classical, unknown bands that are just awesome....no one can say I don't have diversity. I can not name a single song by Kanye. I understand that no one cares about my opinion, but I do not feel as if I'm missing ANYTHING AT ALL by not listening to him.
