- teethandeyes, on 01/06/2009, -3/+20The first two Stooges albums are two of the greatest Rock albums ever made!
RIP Ron. Thank you. - RickHavoc, on 01/06/2009, -2/+17So influential.
- MensFitness, on 01/06/2009, -3/+17i love "I Wanna Be Your Dog"

- MAARRS, on 01/06/2009, -3/+13Wow, too sad. I saw them play NYC about two years ago. i thought it would be a lame reunion show but they rocked the place out. Very impressive.

Lose sleep baby and stay away from bed
Raw power is sure to come a runnin to you - psion01, on 01/07/2009, -2/+8You know ... Larry, Moe, Curly, Shemp, and Curly Joe?
- LargeStack, on 01/07/2009, -1/+6Wow, I saw him play this past August in Montreal. The Stooges and then the Killers. What a great event that was. I've seen hundreds of bands over the years and let me tell you, the energy they exuded on stage was beyond anything I've ever experienced.Granted Iggy was 90% of it. I actually was worried he was going to expire right there at any moment. Sadly the band had their equipment stolen after the show and I don't remember the details but I believe one of Ron's prized guitars was taken.
Going to listen to the Stooges now. - atrn, on 01/07/2009, -3/+7And don't forget Ron's non-Stooges work. New Order (no, not that one), Destroy All Monsters, Dark Carnival, New Race, all did great stuff and he got to play a lot more in those bands. I'm glad I saw him play Down On The Street in a small club with Niagara singing many moons ago. A wonderful demonstration of feel and simplicity done just right.
RIP - richehh, on 01/07/2009, -0/+4It also begs the question, why the ***** are commenting on something you have no knowledge of whatsoever.
Kindly ***** off squire. Cheers. - silly110671, on 01/07/2009, -0/+4I was lucky enough to meet Ron on a low budget movie set, Mosquito.

He had a great sense of humor and always was very friendly.
The movie is total camp and my friends and I still quote his lines to this day. He will be missed. - einrobstein, on 01/07/2009, -0/+4Everyone seems to love Fun House but I think Raw Power is far superior.
- javaroast, on 01/07/2009, -0/+4That's Iggy but not the Stooges. Here's the Stooges
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lU_m5-o63No - malbertsen, on 01/07/2009, -1/+5Raw Power is not quite a Stooges album though... different main guitarist. Rather, it's "Iggy & the Stooges."
- ZaxStevens, on 01/07/2009, -2/+5Sad news, dug his riffs and a dam fine guitarist. Another great hits the high C.
- blindmelon1, on 01/07/2009, -0/+3This sucks, I'm so glad I got to see the reunited Stooges before this tragedy..
RIP RON.
