- tnatharik, on 12/10/2007, -2/+50it makes it easier than ever to ...
- bitspace, on 12/10/2007, -1/+48Listen to legal and sanctioned samples of music so you can run right out and purchase it on high-tech compact disc!
- AshamedAmerican, on 12/10/2007, -1/+43I hope nothing ever stops these guys.
- inactive, on 12/10/2007, -2/+43The Pirate Bay just keeps getting better and better.
- Tooley7, on 12/10/2007, -1/+32This is great, but I still miss Demonoid.
- theblueprint, on 12/10/2007, -0/+29I love last.fm, it's helped me find at least four artists I would have never otherwise checked out.
- shredomatic, on 12/10/2007, -0/+27I bet CBS is just thrilled.
- jkirk7msa, on 12/10/2007, -0/+8Meh, splitting thousands of dollars by thousands of people won't work out too well.
- haveacigar, on 12/10/2007, -0/+7Yeah... that must be why you cant access the site anymore....
- Fourbin, on 12/10/2007, -0/+6Is anyone else really excited that TPB is slowly evolving into the first ever social networking Bit Torrent site? Yes I know tons of sites are forums, etc. but they can really integrate some new, exciting features here.
- Adam420, on 12/10/2007, -1/+7horrible site...too bad demonoids gone :(
still havnt found a good replacement... - Tooley7, on 12/10/2007, -0/+5Limewire died 5 years ago
- fef560, on 12/10/2007, -0/+4I don't think they take over dead torrent sites to increase their userbase. Publicity? Yeah, but I don't think TPB owners have any illusions of getting private tracker users onto their public one.
- apache2, on 12/10/2007, -0/+4NO *****? Did you even follow the digg link?
- virtualball, on 12/10/2007, -1/+5I miss Demonoid... Without it, I have a hard time trusting sites :(
- chromie, on 12/10/2007, -3/+7Great! Now they just need music...
- JFistheBusiness, on 12/10/2007, -17/+20Looking forward to browsing the Last.fm-classified "Emo" section.
And by that, I mean everything on the site. - mr5150, on 12/10/2007, -2/+5Anyone think the RIAA will be popping champaigne corks? /sarcasm
- aaronm67, on 12/10/2007, -0/+3For an even more useless tag, try "seen live". Has pretty much any artist that has played a concert in the last 40 years.
- Chaoticfist, on 12/10/2007, -0/+3They have a lot of content. You just need to know what you are looking for. Also the main unloaders usually put up a wide variety of things.
- moush, on 12/10/2007, -0/+3mininova is good if what you're looking for is reasonably common
- angers, on 12/10/2007, -1/+4i wish you could combine a few tags to get a more accurate search result...
- clos, on 12/10/2007, -0/+3long live oink...... :(
- saturninus, on 12/10/2007, -0/+2Not bad...
- Sefus, on 12/11/2007, -0/+2they are torrents. Usually big files so you probably won't find many singles.
- inactive, on 12/10/2007, -2/+4Cool feature but its not the best site for torrents.
- dsmx, on 12/10/2007, -4/+6 Am I missing something or is the pirate bay doing the job of a record company with the exception of paying the artist? All the pirate bay has to do is give a cut of the advertising money to artists on there site and they could compete with record companies and win.
- Yclif, on 12/10/2007, -0/+2this is awsome. my two favourites come together.
- striker1211, on 12/10/2007, -0/+2I wish i could actually use torrents... its like there is a websherrif rep attached to my modem. Damn DMCA notices...
- pAq6Swad, on 09/16/2008, -0/+2At first I thought that was "Eno," as in Brian Eno. Gah-heeuk!
- kinggimped, on 12/10/2007, -0/+2Agreed. last.fm has introduced me to many new artists, in particular Steely Dan and Michael Hedges... I would probably never have actively got into them if it wasn't for the awesomeness of last.fm. Music socialists unite!
- sloppychris, on 12/10/2007, -0/+2There's also the minor costs of actually producing the music.
- moush, on 12/10/2007, -0/+1i know, where's the eurobeat!
- realbadass, on 12/10/2007, -2/+3where is my FLAC goodies ?
- lebatte, on 12/10/2007, -0/+1Guido.
- inactive, on 12/10/2007, -0/+1They're just beating around the bush about making the "SEARCH" better.
- Dohko_Xar, on 12/10/2007, -2/+3Don't worry, Demonoid is in digg
http://digg.com/users/demonoid - Sefus, on 12/11/2007, -0/+1GOGOGO Pirate Bay!
- prosthetichead, on 12/10/2007, -3/+4limewire was still born
- Sefus, on 12/11/2007, -0/+1Use uTorrent, turn on encryption, Forward a port and use use use the pirate bay!
- Makaveli604, on 12/11/2007, -0/+1find a "real" upload site, silly.
- aDJsavedmylife, on 12/10/2007, -0/+150 Cent tag's:
Hip-Hop', 'Emo', 'Stopped making music ..oh wait' - bobdigi, on 12/10/2007, -1/+2Give me thumbs down all you want, but TPB is garbage. I like the fact that they stand up to anyone, but they cannot compete with good private torrent sites, its just fact. Anyone digging me down just doesnt know any better.
- kinggimped, on 12/10/2007, -0/+1Awesome, I love it. But I loved Oink more. Bring back the piggy! :( Seriously though, it's rather nice to have track listings for albums, upcoming gigs, and the like. Bloody marvellous, more sites should adopt this. I love last.fm.
Although obviously I would only ever use TPB to download music that I have already legitimately purcha........ Pfffffffffffffftttttthahaahahahaaaa, sorry, I just couldn't keep a straight face. - Sefus, on 12/11/2007, -0/+1learn who the "real" uploaders are, silly.
- c0ldfusi0n, on 12/10/2007, -0/+1Too bad half of the torrents are not what they say they are.
- munkyxtc, on 12/10/2007, -0/+1TECHNO VIKING!
- Buckiller, on 12/10/2007, -5/+5check out pandora.com as well.
- yizuman, on 12/10/2007, -1/+1isn't there like single tracks? I can't find any except full albums
