- transeunte, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6The only thing that rocks harder than a guitar:
Two guitars. - DrSkrud, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7You can hear samples at the official Tritaire website, here: http://www.tritare.com/
- mc1123, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5or a guitar make out of stone.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6The only thing that rocks harder than two guitars, is Michael Angelo playing two guitars...

- DigiDave, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3I came across this in science news a 2-3 weeks ago. But everyone overlooked that this is an example of how math and music have always been related.... hence the seed story. I hope you like it.
- Zzone, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Lame!
- TomPetty, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Nothing rocks harder than a guitar.
- codejedi, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Sounds horrible.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Sounds like everything you play is run through a ring modulator.... :(
Pretty gross sounding, but I'm sure it's got its applications. I'm not trading in my Les Paul for one anytime soon. :p - BobbyOnions, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Wow, that's quite a website.
Hasn't he heard of mp3? - antique, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1this was on musicthing a few weeks ago. Pretty sweet.
- Pestilence, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1The sample tunes sure sound like something a Canadian mathematician would compose.... bleh!
- madmathmatician, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1When a phenomena involving "slowly varying" amplitudes of more rapid oscillations involving these flucuations in maximum amplitudes, the acoustical "beat" is said to occur. And it rocked hard...
- Nu_Metalz, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1wow.. I live 10 minutes from there.. Nice to see stuff coming out of Moncton.. but my guitar still sound better
- nuvem, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1The sound is a little trippy, though at times it seems like they need a little more practice.
- w33t, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1A very good musician needs to get their hands on this. I can see the huge potential for this - the music on the website (in .wav format for quality reasons I'm sure - must have never heard of FLAC (unless that was encoded with FLAC...I don't think it was)) is seemingly an exposition on the possible tones and harmonies the instrument is capable of.
I would definitely want to hear something more palatable and a little less Pythagorean - no disrespect to the ancient mathematical homies ;) - bandofme, on 11/04/2008, -0/+0This is definitely Guitar Rock !!! Love it!
- akuzemchak, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1I wonder when TOOL will get their hands on this thing?
- jotux, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Can't verify how much any instrument rocks without hearing the opening sequence to "tie your mother down" on it first.
- warofwrath, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2The Pythagorean Theorem is actually -not- attributed to Pythagoras. Spread the truth.
- doktorziplok, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0i think you mean "stairway to heaven"
- SteelChicken, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0im not a guitar player, but ive done some sound engineering, and I was thinking the same thing.
this might give easier control of the FX to the guitar player though.
only you can decide if thats a good or bad thing :) - handle, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1It's a bit chimey, but you can get that kind of effect with a normal guitar and a cheap-ass multi-effects pedal.
- IHaveIssues, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2Yay for New Brunswick! I'm in the capital. Google it if you have to.
- idonthack, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Hey, don't knock the electric triangle. You can make some pretty crazy sounds with that thing.
DINGDINGDINGDINGDINGDINGDINGDINGDINGDINGDINGDINGDINGDING - eseverson, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0
ROFL, "rocks as hard as the electric triangle" - Tom_Riddle, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1I logged in just to write how gay this is.
