- radicaldementia, on 10/14/2008, -4/+106#1 - right band, wrong album. St. anger was far worse than Load or reload. As un-metallica as they were, they at least had 1 or 2 decent songs, but st anger was just nonstop garbage. Plus st anger was over-hyped as a "comeback" album and miserably failed to deliver.
- GeeksSpeakFont, on 10/14/2008, -10/+86even a bad pink floyd album is still a pretty good album though...
- GordonFree, on 10/15/2008, -0/+70Another article by a ***** who thinks he's an awesome music critic.
- Tubbles, on 10/15/2008, -0/+56Since when did Spike TV become dictators of quality? Over half of the stuff they decide to put on their network is pure *****.
- tooldork, on 10/14/2008, -2/+45Rip off Wiki much?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Final_Cut_(album)
Get Your Filthy Hands Off My Desert and Not Now John are great songs. - Surferess, on 10/14/2008, -6/+42Guess I am kinda lame, 'cause I really liked the Santana one. I have a properly instilled respect for anything Carlos puts out there.
- WaywardSon, on 10/15/2008, -0/+35"Final Cut" and "Pablo, honey" were crappy albums? You need a check up from the head up, bro.
- binky79, on 10/15/2008, -2/+36Worst list ever.
Radiohead - Pablo honey was/is an awesome album. Weezer - Green album wasn't that bad. The Final Cut wasn't that bad either. What a crock of *****. - cloudberries, on 10/15/2008, -2/+35Pablo Honey, a bad album? Sure it's probably the worst of Radiohead's catalogue, but Radiohead's worst is pretty good in anyone's books.
Crash Test Dummies - Anything after, or before "God Shuffled His Feet"
/my two cents - loobis, on 10/15/2008, -1/+28The Final Cut is a GREAT album. You shouldn't even compare it to other Floyd, because it's basically a Roger Waters solo album. Besides, a sad album and a bad album are not the same thing. Not every album needs to have a happy theme. Lame.
- kilya218, on 10/15/2008, -0/+26The whole album is great!
- inactive, on 10/15/2008, -6/+31Funny I loved The Green Album. Would've thought Metallica would have a few more in there. They're releasing crap all the time.
- moxley, on 10/15/2008, -2/+26"The Final Cut" is a good album.
- PrismoFillusion, on 10/15/2008, -0/+19Most of the bands(/artists) listed have far worse albums than are included in this list.
- fugularity, on 10/15/2008, -1/+19Honorable mention for Pearl Jam – Vitalogy??? Uh, last I checked that was one of their BEST albums, if not THE best.
- stonewaljacksn, on 10/15/2008, -0/+16This list lost all credibility with supernatural. Not that I'm a huge fan of the album, but it singlehandedly put Santana back on the map and only a pretentious hipster prick would call it one of the worst albums by an awesome band.
- inactive, on 10/15/2008, -1/+17Would've thought the name "St. Anger" was a pretty good clue on how good the album would be.
- thephosphorbox, on 10/15/2008, -1/+16I agree, I love The Final Cut.. always have.
- ctlr, on 10/15/2008, -3/+15Thank you. I was about to post the same thing. St. Anger was terrible.
- dslartoo, on 10/15/2008, -1/+13Bingo. Load actually has a few listenable tracks. St. Anger fails from beginning to end.
A friend of mine, Matt Smith of the power metal band Theocracy, did a St. Anger parody song a few years back which went round the internets at lightspeed. The sound he used for the "snare drum"? He beat on a metal chair with a stick. - fugularity, on 10/15/2008, -0/+11I thought this article was about a band that WAS awesome that ALL OF A SUDDEN made a crappy album? That being the case, how can Pablo Honey qualify? It's their first album, dude.
- badnewshotel, on 10/15/2008, -0/+10He's a lifestyle!
- moxley, on 10/15/2008, -0/+10If you think that's bad you should hear any song off of "With Sympathy," their first album..It makes depeche mode sound like slayer....Al always says "We did it backwards, we sold out for our first album and got integrity afterward" (or something to tthat effect).
- CPOliver, on 10/15/2008, -1/+10St. Anger shoud without a doubt be #1 on this list.Megadeth's Risk should be on there too instead of Supernatural, which is a good album imho.
- roctimo, on 10/15/2008, -1/+10You are not lame at all, I used to love that friggin CD.
- stonebone4, on 10/15/2008, -0/+9Murray: You get a love triangle - you know? Fleetwood Mac situation.
Murray: Well there there was four of them, so more of a love square. But you know, no one gets on.
Jemaine: Okay, I see.
Murray: Mind you, they did make some of their best music back then.
Bret: Rumors.
Murray: No, that’s all true - rodlaiz, on 10/15/2008, -0/+9I like the Final Cut, but I agree with plainOldFool, sounds like a Water solo album
- Coffeedemon, on 10/15/2008, -0/+9An album that the band considers so bad that the members have been supposedly trying to locate all of the copies so they can destroy it. But Billy Gnosis was pretty catchy.
- BN2L, on 10/15/2008, -0/+8Michael Jackson isn't a band
- ecrass, on 10/15/2008, -0/+8Charlie never murdered anyone. Charlie loves you and wants you to be happy.
- Thuktun, on 10/15/2008, -0/+8I concur, the whole album is great. Yeah, it leans a lot toward Waters' style, but there is some great music in there.
- VyPR, on 10/15/2008, -0/+7I think this sums up St. Anger pretty well.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e_3ieuItPC0 - SuperVepr308, on 10/15/2008, -2/+9"Twitch" from Ministry had me just shaking my head. I couldn't believe it was the same band that did "Just one fix" and "NWO".
- tkoziar, on 10/15/2008, -4/+11If anyone reading this is familiar with Bad Religion's "Into the Unknown", you would agree that should have definitely made it on this.
- fugularity, on 10/15/2008, -0/+7"Any Kiss album." there I fixed it for you
- dfross, on 10/15/2008, -1/+8You're really criticising Death Magnetic's drum sound, following on from St Anger's "frying pan for a snare" sound?
- Felix2Fingerz, on 10/15/2008, -0/+7I've always liked this album. Not exactly my favorite, but I'm noted for playing side-2 over and over back in the days. I do blame the album for being the death of the band itself however. I often wonder what Floyd would have been like if Syd never freaked out.
- Samas11, on 10/15/2008, -1/+8Roger Waters had nothing to do with any album post Final Cut-he had left the band.
On a side note, I agree with GeeksSpeakFont - Final Cut was still pretty fracking awesome album; just not their best. - SketchaMPM, on 10/15/2008, -1/+8Agreed. Vitalogy is right up there with Ten and Vs. This guy is clueless.
- MrSweets, on 10/15/2008, -2/+9I loved it too. A Chad Kroeger song that's actually worth listening to... Plus Smooth is incredible.
"If you disagree with me you're wrong" was the running theme in that article and it really pissed me off. - krytz86, on 10/15/2008, -1/+7ST Anger anyone?
Pablo Honey is quality. - cloudberries, on 10/15/2008, -0/+6I think Monster is one of their best, fits in nicely with the grunge movement at the time.
- inactive, on 10/15/2008, -1/+7if you count the kids in his bedroom it is
- soupnumber5, on 10/15/2008, -0/+6I was thinking the same thing.
- kidathinnes, on 10/15/2008, -0/+6For the love of mankind, go get lost.
- Ecsa0014, on 10/15/2008, -0/+6I quit reading as soon as I saw the Spike logo. Worst network ever.
- Twinked, on 10/15/2008, -0/+6The album title itself was pretty prophetic of Roger Waters leaving the band... The Final Cut
- pe5t1lence, on 10/15/2008, -0/+6Like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KN-j9H0nIDs
- DforSpiD, on 10/15/2008, -1/+7Well I liked Pablo, Honey...
- mojoel, on 10/15/2008, -0/+6"Twitch" was done well before "Psalm 69." That was when they were still a sappy 80's dance type band. It still sounded creepy, I guess. I also think that "The Mind Is A Terrible Thing To Taste" is superior to "Psalm 69."
