- kiiwii, on 12/19/2007, -0/+25Christmas Wrapping by the Waitresses is a great song IMO, and has an AWESOME bassline.
- CraigJ, on 12/19/2007, -4/+21what's wrong with Alvin and the Chipmunks?
- troy1of2, on 12/19/2007, -0/+17It's hard to imagine that 'Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer' didn't make the list.
- daedalus779, on 12/19/2007, -3/+20nice to see the grinch has a digg account
- TheCooler72, on 12/19/2007, -4/+19I always thought "Baby, It's Cold Outside" was sort of a date-rape carol. I cringe every time I hear the lady say "What's in this drink?"
- Phocion55, on 12/19/2007, -2/+17On an unrelated sidenote.....I saw Trans-Siberian Orchestra in Philly 2 weeks ago.
Un-freakin-believably AWESOME Christmas music. - BrokenVisage, on 12/19/2007, -2/+16Christmas Wrapping is a great song.
- NathanielJ, on 12/19/2007, -1/+14I don't believe in Winter.
- obrysii, on 12/19/2007, -2/+15"Santa Baby" as sung by Madonna haunts my nightmares.
- smoothmedia, on 12/19/2007, -1/+14Back then, before date rape drugs "whats in this drink?" meant that someone had spiked the punch.
- staxofmax, on 12/19/2007, -5/+16No "Feliz Navidad"? The chorus of that song is repeated at least 70 times. Every time I hear that song it gets stuck in my head for at least 5 days, and I'm left wanting to kill myself and everyone around me.
- theartfuldodgr, on 12/19/2007, -2/+12Dude, you seriously need to calm down if a holiday gets you that bent out of shape. Christmas is alot more than just a religious holiday. It is supposed to be a day of giving and not expecting anything in return, it gives people alittle reminder that there is alot of good still left in this world. I am personally not christian but still participate in the holiday because I enjoy it, and I know plenty of other non-christains, including atheists, who celebrate Christmas as well.
- gregm11, on 12/19/2007, -0/+9I agree 'Christmas Wrapping' is pretty good. Some on the list are not bad songs - it's the artist that destroys it.
That said, I've always hated "Frosty The Snowman" regardless of who sings it. - whoitis, on 12/19/2007, -0/+9They forgot "Rupaul the red-nosed drag-queen"....I'm not making that up....I heard it yesterday....ridiculous.
- dieselpuker, on 12/19/2007, -1/+10I'd have to agree with #1. There is no joy in that song and I want Christmas to be about joy and all that happy *****.
- Myonosken, on 12/19/2007, -0/+8***** militant atheists.
NB: I'm atheist by far, but I really hate arseholes like this who are nearly as bad as fundamentalist religious nuts. - rodeo40, on 12/19/2007, -0/+8Don't like it...don't listen...f.cking crybaby
- ViSioN, on 12/19/2007, -0/+7Merry Christmas to you too Scrooge.
- yogurtslinger, on 12/19/2007, -0/+7Jason Lee is in the new movie that's what.
- dudefather, on 12/19/2007, -0/+6what do you get a wookie for christmas when he already owns a comb?
- BeckyBD, on 12/19/2007, -0/+6hahaha...sorry fatguy, i don't frequent all the star wars sites quite as often as you might, but thanks for the links....just saw it at a friends house....but maybe i'll see you at the next convention....=)
- Phocion55, on 12/19/2007, -0/+6What's an MFASS?
P.S. Have a great holiday season! - CraigJ, on 12/19/2007, -0/+5that's the new, fake Alvin and the Chipmunks, which certainly does suck...
- trevorjez, on 12/19/2007, -0/+5i was shocked to see that one of the list. buried for that reason alone.
- MammasMilk, on 12/19/2007, -0/+5Can depend on who's singing it.
New Kids on the Block = All bad X-mas songs regardless if they are classics or not.
Louis Armstrong = Great X-mas songs all the time, even the song that some drunk, hobo came up with while pissing on the lamp-post by the CVS... Armstrong would take it and make it great. - Wonderama, on 12/19/2007, -0/+5Christmas Wrapping is a great song and destroys the credibility of an otherwise good list.
- foolonthehill, on 12/19/2007, -0/+5'Burry' is to digg as bury is to dig?
- Shao00, on 12/19/2007, -0/+4no jingle dogs/cats?
- kidendless, on 12/19/2007, -0/+4I have to disagree: that John Denver song has the greatest title I've ever seen.
- Sneezyx, on 12/19/2007, -0/+4You mean "as croaked by", right?
- iamafatguy, on 12/19/2007, -0/+4Hi. Welcome to the internets.

Now if you wanna talk *bad* Christmas albums... "Christmas in the Stars" is truly cringeworthy.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christmas_in_the_Star ...
And yes, torrents are available for both. - nirv117, on 12/19/2007, -0/+3You want a good original christmas song try this one "Lets have a Patrick Swayze Christmas" by crow T robot.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2ZyJCV_dyug - Y2JCrisis, on 12/19/2007, -1/+4No it isn't. Christmas in America is more of a secular holiday than a religous one.
- johnnall, on 12/19/2007, -0/+3Back when my father-in-law used to drink (before I met my wife), he would get drunk as hell on Christmas eve and sing "Please, Daddy (Don’t Get Drunk This Christmas)". They laugh about it now but my mother-in-law would just sit there and cry.
- Kronos6948, on 12/19/2007, -0/+3Man...that was like being back in the early 90's. Not bad!
- r00tus3r, on 12/19/2007, -0/+3good times eh?
Seriously, I really don't know how to respond to that. - doctechnical, on 12/19/2007, -0/+3Agreed, Christmas Wrapping shouldn't be on the list. But perhaps I'm biased, they're a local band (Kent/Akron OH).
- simmonsdd, on 12/19/2007, -1/+4WTF, no Grandma got run over by a reindeer? No jingle bells barking dogs? The rest of those songs must have really sucked to not have room for those two.
- mal1964, on 12/19/2007, -0/+39. Santa Claus Go Straight To The Ghetto by James Brown (1995)
It made the list but it was the hardest working song on it. - semeticstallion, on 12/19/2007, -0/+3Right with you there. In comparison to the 15 recycled Christmas tunes usually played at least the guy put some balls into the season and some real spirit.
I mean, it's not Easy E's "Merry *****' Christmas" or anything, but can anything ever be? - jrtcs, on 12/19/2007, -1/+3john2kx,
I wish I could Digg you up about 200 times. What pisses me off the most is hearing the same song 3 times in a row by 3 different singers. The Muzak in my office building constantly does this. - ladbroke, on 12/19/2007, -0/+2http://members.shaw.ca/cybernana/funpage/dominick/ ...
Dominick the Donkey, bar none, should win this. - CraigJ, on 12/19/2007, -1/+3sounds like someone has a case of the Mondays... on Wednesday. Either that or you should just commit suicide.
- Gudlyf, on 12/19/2007, -0/+2A-f'ing-men to 'Christmas Shoes' making it to #1. As if it needed its own list:
- What kind of dad tells their kid their mom might not live to see Christmas?
- What kind of dad sends his kid out to buy a gift for a dying mom with no money?
- What kind of kid knows his mom's shoe size?
- "Hey everyone, look at me! I gave money to this poor kid for some shoes after he asked me for some! I'm so incredibly awesomely generous that I'm going to write a song about it. Oh and I'll add 'Jesus' in the lyrics to really make people cry. Oooh I'm good." - inactive, on 12/19/2007, -1/+3the romans/jews crucified jesus, duder. he didn't crucify himself.
- dawa259, on 12/19/2007, -0/+2Merry Christmas to all of Digg!
- tyzent, on 12/19/2007, -0/+2ever watch the music video for Christmas Shoes? it's probably the most horrific video on youtube.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VNsvE33pRSw - absurdist, on 12/19/2007, -0/+2Clyde Crashcup FTW!
God, I AM old... - dxgg, on 02/05/2008, -0/+2Nice try.
- inactive, on 12/19/2007, -0/+2Hey wait a minute! "Christmas Wrapping" by The Waitresses is one of my perennial favorites!
