- Stumpokapow, on 10/12/2007, -0/+31Oh *****, you guys are going to rape my bandwidth so hard.
Glad to see that little directory is getting some use though. If anyone has some requests, I could probably track them down and add them at some point. - ccanni1028, on 10/12/2007, -0/+15Why just listen to the songs when you can also see a lot of the intro videos?
http://www.retrojunk.com/list_tvshows.php
They have commercials and TV shows from the 70's, 80's, and 90's. - Mufflegrump, on 10/12/2007, -0/+13This totally rocks, thanks man! Oddly enough, I've had "The Elephant Show" theme stuck in my head for the last week for some reason. Now I can finally get it out without power tools!
- burnstyle, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7step by step,
pee wee's playhouse,
it would be a theme song paradise if it only had the facts of life
but i guess you take the good, you take the bad....
digg
edit- beware some of these are really bad quality - innerspirit, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7gotta love the x-men theme, too bad its so short ;(
digg+ - konspence, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7I recursively wget'd your website (all mp3's) and I got 200kb/s the whole time. I'm working on a mirror, upping it to a hosting account I have, but it is sloooow uploading at 40 kb/s
Mirror will slowly begin to populate at: http://server74.tchmachines.com/~rzhpdzbx/diggmirror
ps: Why doesn't somebody start a torrent of these? With a torrent you can choose what files you want to download. - Thorpe, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7Fresh Prince of Bel-Air brings back some memories. The Futurama theme is one of my favourites.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6You'll pay for this, Captain Planet!
- Mr.Glass, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7amazingly, your still up

Sorry Digg!
You guys pulled 200 gigs in 12 hours. Thank you very much for the interest, and it feels great that something I worked on a little bit got linked on one of the most popular sites online.
The files will be back up when the Digg rush slows down! - Basketb926, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5http://thepiratebay.org/details.php?id=3487382
i downlaoded and started a torrent of all the theme songs, i'll seeed it at my max speed for some time now - jbrook11, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Duck Tales is the best!
- TheGuy20, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Too bad the fresh prince one isn't the full song.
- Mexrocker, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4DOUG!!! I loved watching that show...
a lot of these memories are just coming back... thank you - Darren07, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4HAHA, A-Team! what a classic!
- chrisdelta, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Ahh, the memories. I want to be ten again.
- drsnacks, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Even retrojunk had nothing about "Little Shop", the cartoon series based on the musical "Little Shop of Horrors". Sometimes I feel like I'm the only person who knows that show ever existed.
But they have "King Koopas Kool Kartoons Show"?! The hell was that? - gothicx00, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Sir, i will take that as a compliment!
But yes i realize that it was a little "leetest" comment. That I do apologize for. But i guess what it comes down to is that, while i was more involved with my rant, in retrospec professorhojo and i really had the same mindset on the issue. He didn't like the list because he hadn't heard of half of it and its not as long as his british list. I didn't like his list because it was insanly long and full of stuff *I* had never heard of. So while i support him (sorta) in the fact that is an extensive list, I still don't see why he didn't digg it. - sandig, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Fairly Odd Parents is an amazing show and the theme tune kicks ass as well.
- hotpepper, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Digg effect is the term; not really a verb though.
- drumman4ever, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Wait... does anyone remember Histeria? I think that's how it's spelt.
It didn't last too long, but it was a cartoon that made fun of history for the most part. If anyone can find the theme for that. I will kiss you - metalrock76, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3"I recursively wget'd your website (all mp3's)"
I'm doing the same thing.. haha
at http://files.metal4rock.net/themes - Lynxpro, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2"Doctor Who" has to be the best television theme tune ever, including the latest version. Followed by Ron Grainer's (sic) other legendary work, the theme tune from "The Prisoner". I'm also partial to the tune to "The Persuaders!" if it were sped up. Following that would be "Kolchak the Night Stalker", "Mission Impossible", "The A-Team", "Knight Rider" and the original "Battlestar Galactica".
- Roger, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Anyone remember the Dinosaucers theme? Got stuck in my head a few weeks ago, and I still can't find a good quality mp3.
- burnstyle, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Dinosaucers is a diffrent show
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dinosaucers
http://www.toyarchive.com/Dinosaucers/PrototypeActionFigures.html - techmonkey4u, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2ahhhhhhh themey goodness.. The X-men theme song has got to be the coolest-sounding theme song in the history of TV
- morgrar, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2A-Team, TMNT, X-Men, DuckTales, TailSpin. These are awesome. Brings back a lot of memories.
- GuitaristTom, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2wtf...the cheers theme doesnt sound right...neither does futurama...they all sound a little odd actually
- nuclearpenguins, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Thanks! Who doesn't love The Muppet Show theme?!
- lilkuyaroger, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2"In 1972, a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court
for a crime they didn't commit. These men promptly escaped from a
maximum security stockade to the Los Angeles underground. Today, still
wanted by the government, they survive as soldiers of fortune. If you
have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them,
maybe you can hire... The A-Team."
OMG! I love this show! A-Team = win! - FullMetalMonkey, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Where's the Dr. Who theme!
Also, that isn't the schoolhouse rock theme, that's the adverb song! - ccanni1028, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2http://www.retrojunk.com/details_tvshows/66-macgyver/
- burke, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2you can't really compress audio.
- saudama, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Interesting website! I can see myself sucking up everything it's got!
- Kaioshin, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3No 'Allo 'Allo theme. ;_;
- Rosco, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2For some reason this reminds me of a part in the movie Demolition Man, where the biggest hit radio station was old commercial jingles, and everyone sang along to them.
"Oh I wish I was an Oscar Meyer Weiner" - ccanni1028, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2It was a super mario spinoff show.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I wish it has Eeek the Cat theme. :
- cjsan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Where's the Simpsons?
And this site is great for theme songs too:
http://www.blastfromthepasttv.com/alphaa.html - sirgad, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Great find. Thank you much.
- ccanni1028, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Not a ringtone MP3, but

Here's more, including the Facts of Life: http://www.fozzy42.com/SoundClips.html
Willingly listening to these and old commercials makes me think of Demolition Man, where all music on the radio is based on popular commercials.
http://www.digg.com/music/Radio_Commercials_from_1920_to_1960_(MP3s) - cheez, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Go, go Power Rangers!
- packynix, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1hanging with the plumbers, you'll be hooked to the brothers! brothers to the bridge!!!
- rkuchiki, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Although very ad-ridden, and annoyingly labeled, I must say, that this site i found like 5 years ago has MANY more themes.
http://www.soundamerica.com/sounds/themes/
(heh and there wasn't a single ad on the site when i first found it, now there is more ads than html. :P) - devoinregress, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Clone High! what a good show!
- Aelbric, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Alas, no Hogan's Heroes.
- linus7, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2AND>>>.... he's down. 2:20 pm. Central time. "Bandwith Exceeded." Well, it was fun while it lasted...
