Students 'worst customers': RIAA

p2pnet.net — "Years ago, college students were our best customers," says RIAA spin doctor Cary Sherman (right). "Now they're among our worst customers." Maybe that's because years ago, Warner Music, EMI, Vivendi Universal and Sony BMG's RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) wasn't trying to sue students into buying 'product'.

  • Reclinatron, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1So, they have been convicted of price fixing multiple times, sue their "best customers", and don't sell music without DRM that locks you out of your fair use rights. Why would things be going poorly for them?
