- unre4l, on 10/12/2007, -1/+35They're clearly not people; they're robots.
- scotticus, on 10/12/2007, -2/+30I'd mark it inaccurate, but I'm not an anal-retentive douche bag.
- Freonce, on 10/12/2007, -2/+14Well, each one takes a turn at a solo...I don't think we need to be that prudish, what with it being awesome and all....
- 1773nium, on 10/12/2007, -0/+12ZING!
- James3FresH, on 10/12/2007, -0/+12those guys are the Bucket Boys, if you go to chicago your mostly likely to see them.
they sometimes even perform at some Bulls games - scotticus, on 10/12/2007, -3/+13so does your mom
- t3hmun, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7Good but, in my opinion they don't beat Larry Wright.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wAEd6GW_fXA - KiDD420, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6That inspires me to bang on ***** too!
- LLamaStar, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6watch the movie...they each do a solo.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6give them money for weed
- LexisNexis, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5They each did solos.
- 1773nium, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Man...if this was sped up then those fat people that walk behind them must be ***** SLOOOOOOOOOW!
- MSTK, on 10/12/2007, -3/+6...how is this a solo?
- haveacigar, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3This is them http://www.nba.com/bulls/news/bucket_boys.html ... but they have a new member
another video of them
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7JPPXO_Yhyo&mode=related&search= - scotticus, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3If you'd stop basking in the smell of your own farts you might learn how to get jokes.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Heh yea they played in the tunnels during bears games. I didn't see 5 of them though there was like 3. They're awesome :)
- ntwrkguy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2nice! reminds me of various people in the nyc subway who do the same.
- oakeybloke, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4Perhaps, but the headline would still be inaccurate but claiming to be "a drum solo", singular. It is very obviously a quintet (as quintets occasionally have solos within them, especially percussion), and although us whiners clearly need a hobby apart from posting snippity digg comments, this has to be one of the most retarded headlines I've ever seen quite honestly.
- btvillarin, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I usually don't comment, but I laughed out loud when reading this one. :)
- magic6435, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4GET A JOB!
- 1773nium, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2You mean "their" own solos right??
Someone link this man the top 10 grammar mistakes made story that was on the front page last week. I'm ***** lazy. - scotticus, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Usually jokes -are- funny. Unlike you.
- mrASSMAN, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1STOMP! does as well. (I'm pretty sure that's what their name was, I might be wrong.
- mrASSMAN, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1http://www.stomponline.com/
- 1773nium, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Yeah STOMP! does this as well but in a gay douchebag collar poppin sort of way.
- Lou3000, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Yeah, great until you have to walk past these guys everyday on your way to work. It is a little loud when I pass them, they move around the city, but are always in my way somehow.
- SydeffeX, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1BAH!
I see these guys all the time, and it gets old quick. It'd be nice if they played to some kind of beat. i guess you could call it Jazz drumming if they didn't do the same routine every single time. - Drgn547, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1they're not bad for using buckets on the street.
Check out these guys - back when I was in college they came to the school a few times - they play on buckets, barrels, fire extinguishers...any kind of junk they can find, with a little techno:
http://www.recycledpercussion.com/photovideo/phvideopop.html - eighties, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1There's an unofficial festival in Montréal that happens in the summer called "Tam Tams" that has stuff like this every Sunday for a couple months.
Oh, and these guys rocked. - zaklampert, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1they have nothing on nick cannon
- scotticus, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I will now bless the world with Scotticus' First Law:
As an internet thread about a video grows longer, the probability of someone claiming that the video is fake approaches 1. - 1773nium, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Marked as inaccurate...Brian BURNS no one.
- truman48, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Yea! Blue Man Group, Black Man group, I mean Group playing drums, plastic drums like the Blue Man Group, but they are not blue?
- jondilly, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1My brother and I were in Chicago this last December for the Bears game on Dec 3rd. We had left Portillos and were heading to Michigan Ave to do some shopping. We heard this amazing drum solo from about a block away. As we got closer to Michigan Ave, it was louder and louder. You would have sworn that it was a large speaker setup playing a recording. We finally made it through the crowd to get close enough to see that it was just one guy with a few buckets. Now my brother was in a band for many years and knows music very well. He said that the guy we heard is one of the best drummers he has ever heard live. If you are ever in Chicago, you must hit Portillos and then walk to Michigan Ave and see the dummers.
- OpCzar, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I'm pretty sure the sound quality on youtube doesn't make them justice. They should make the last guy have a sticker on his bucket that he reveals during his solo to give people a clue that it's time to be charitable :-).
- scotticus, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1No... he's right. "There" referred to his mother's anus.
- schibs, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Please learn to use punctuation when posting stories.
- DiggzDE, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1They are good but they ain't no Blue Man Group.
Where is all the blue paint and flares? - fryguy1013, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This is pretty neat, but I wouldn't say it's "amazing you have to see it." I was in the drum line in high school and got to see a lot of people that were equally as good at the competitions. It really just takes practice to do it, although practicing drums is sort of painful, especially when training to build up the muscles in your arms.
- BrianBurns, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Jokes are usually FUNNY.
- loves2spooge, on 10/12/2007, -4/+4Pretty damn awesome. But I've seen better.
- djphatjive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1OK, how about 5 guys doing there own solos. There!
- limestarch, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1These guys are, technically, very sound - impressive. Reminded me of the Top Secret Drum Corps out of Switzerland
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KFtc_rpg-Wg - psychoace, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0You should see the wad of cash these kids have at the end of the day. I am sure they are driving BMW's when they leave since they don't look like they spend it on clothes.
- roastnewt1, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I agree. I live in that area, and it's impossible to work with the window open when they're playing.
- 1773nium, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1So based upon your statement here, if Jimmy Page, Jimi Hendrix, and David Gilmour were in the same badass ultra kick you in the nuts band and they all had an individual guitar solo it wouldn't really be a "solo" because all three of them are on stage? I agree with scotticus up above, sometimes you just have to pull the anal digg plug out of your ass.
- wiimaniacs, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0...
- tnoo, on 10/12/2007, -8/+4Last time I checked a drum solo was one person.... This is more like a drum cinco...
- Paperthin, on 10/12/2007, -6/+2That's kinda...fake, it was sped up, so they weren't actually playing that fast. Also, any serious corps. drummer could easily out play them.
