It's a reggae-esq version with full orchestration, and it's not nearly as good as just him and a ukulele.

- msheppard, on 01/04/2009, -0/+7I've been a big fan of this recording for a few years - and I think the video detracts. I think it exists best in audio form alone, with your eyes closed - maybe you see something, maybe you don't - but it's this recording that is great, all by itself. I think most MP3 player visualizations do as good a job as this random collection of video/image fades.
Maybe I'm too harsh - I suppose anything that spreads this piece of beautiful audio is ok.
Slip it in a running/exercise mix - typically folks pick the hard rock stuff while there sitting at the computer making mixes - but this one can get you up some pretty nasty hills.

From what I've heard Iz was a legend in Hawaii, and that when he died (at far too young an age) his body lay in state in the Hawaii state capitol, one of only two or so people to be given that honor. - ricoboy24, on 01/04/2009, -1/+6Bratha IZ was my inspiration to pick up the Ukulele.
