- cubicledrone, on 02/18/2009, -5/+87For those of you wondering, these two people are musicians who can play instruments and sing with no electronic equipment at all and it sounds like music.
- Bloodwine, on 02/18/2009, -3/+44I don't know if I'd call Rosie O'Donnell A-list
- deweyhewson, on 02/18/2009, -3/+15They also could sing about loss, depression, and sorrow and make it eloquent and beautiful, without whining about being unable to fit in their sister's pants.
Not like the emo ***** of today. - shugdoo, on 02/18/2009, -2/+12That was probably a nice bookend to an era for those attending.
- terracottapai, on 02/18/2009, -0/+8Audience reaction when Garfunkel shows up about 2:00 in.

- timusca, on 02/18/2009, -1/+7Since when is Rosie O'Donnell A-List material?
- bg233, on 02/18/2009, -2/+8They do reunite quite often, but expecting to see just Paul Simon and getting Simon and Garfunkel is still pretty damn cool.
- Expl0siv0, on 02/18/2009, -1/+6As a 20 year old, I don't have many friends who like Simon and Garfunkel. I'm really glad my parents listened to them all the time when I was younger. Paul Simon is one of the most talented song writers I have ever heard, and Art Garfunkel puts most anyone to shame when it comes to singing.
- imhalfpirate, on 02/18/2009, -1/+6I saw Paul Simon when he came to town with Chris Dodd. He played songs in a park with only a few hundred people there. It was amazing.

Check out the guy wearing the In Living Color shirt in the first picture. - vault, on 02/18/2009, -2/+6The style Simon and Garfunkel went for wasn't supposed to be frenzied or giggly or angry or whatever the hell else children expect from music today. I'm sorry riffraff like you have been raised on a diet of ProTools-fueled pop punk and juvenile anti-authority lyrics and actually think that trumps real music performed by genuine musicians.
But I must congratulate you on your ability to recite 'onomatopoeic,' no doubt a vocabulary word you learned last week in 10th grade English. - vixtt, on 02/18/2009, -3/+7simon and garfunkle reunion #3,000,000
=/They must have the record for most reunions in world history - DjOverEZ, on 02/18/2009, -4/+7Well, maybe "The most talented musician alive...and Art Garfunkel."
- mdaize, on 02/18/2009, -2/+5They have to be two of the most talented musicians alive.

You got to make the morning last.
Just kicking down the cobble stones.
Looking for fun and feelin' groovy.
Hello lamppost,
What cha knowing?
I've come to watch your flowers growing.
Ain't cha got no rhymes for me?
Doot-in' doo-doo,
Feelin' groovy.
Got no deeds to do,
No promises to keep.
I'm dappled and drowsy and ready to sleep.
Let the morning time drop all its petals on me.
Life, I love you,
All is groovy. - pantsperch, on 02/18/2009, -1/+2My 25th birthday present was a flight to see Simon and Garfunkel at the Fleet Center the last time they toured. It was awesome.
- Rudegar, on 02/18/2009, -1/+2but but but they're on my enemy list along with the eagle's! :S
- ibeetle, on 02/18/2009, -0/+1@suavek2000
You are right. I attended the Broadway opening of Cats (***** that makes me feel real ***** old now)... anyway there were about 200 celebrities (both A and B list) in the audience... out of a theater that holds 1,500 And yet when you read the write ups in the papers the next day you would think that all 1,500 are A listers. Out of 1,500 people you know how many celebrities you see in a dark theater? About 5. Although I did get to sit next to Larry Storch. - IphtashuFitz, on 02/18/2009, -1/+2They were the first concert I ever went to back in 1983 (Sullivan Stadium, Foxboro, MA) and it stands out as one of my favorites. I would love to see them both again in concert some day... Absolutely amazing what they can do with just their two voices a guitar. I also would have loved to have seen the reaction of the audience Friday night when Garfunkel walked out on stage. I'm sure it was priceless.

- Hades455, on 02/19/2009, -0/+1jonas brothers are straight up lypsyncers just watch the grammys performance, and they don't even count as artists since they fail at creating their own auteur-istic style(they are not original), and they suck at making covers.
- xsmasher, on 02/18/2009, -1/+2I will dry them all
- pilot3033, on 02/18/2009, -1/+1The evening was billed as just Paul Simon. Garfunkle showing up was a complete surprise. It's not like they've been doing a lot of touring, and the last tour they did do wasn't billed as a reunion.
That's a far stretch from the comeback tours of some superstars. - lelebelle, on 02/18/2009, -1/+1I so wish I had been there! What a fantastic surprise.
- lilmentor3, on 02/18/2009, -1/+1Hello darkness, my old friend...

- Hades455, on 02/20/2009, -1/+1Vault, what you just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I've ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that can be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this thread is now dumber for having to listen to what you've said. I award you no respect, and may God have mercy on your soul.
You guys are stuck up on your on bull ***** and can't give me a straight response all you do is criticize with your own bias! - seventhc, on 02/19/2009, -1/+1You're ***** kidding me, right?
- danhauk, on 02/19/2009, -1/+1Isn't that what the Jonas Brothers are?
/s - I4uga, on 02/18/2009, -3/+3Here's to you Mrs. Robinson!!!!
- DanH1420, on 07/19/2009, -0/+0You'll never take me alive, disco! Or dead, for that matter. There's a 50 cal built into my coffin with Advanced Disco Detection. If the ADD is activated, it'll destroy everything within 25 feet.
