Blip.fm > twitter MP3 'sharing' - astrotrain, on 01/29/2009, -0/+7They will be all over this like flies on their own ***** they call music.
- derekivey, on 01/29/2009, -0/+6The RIAA is going to be all over this...
- edzynda, on 01/29/2009, -1/+5Yet another separate website to juggle in the ever growing mess of external twitter tools. It's a great idea but I wish twitter would add this kind of stuff or that it would all end up in one central location.
- mediadls, on 01/29/2009, -0/+4Very cool
- Mylf, on 01/29/2009, -0/+4Is pownce gone?
- seinman, on 01/29/2009, -0/+4I like it, but it doesn't work for AAC files, which make up the majority of my music collection.
- maxlightz, on 01/29/2009, -0/+2anyone notice the picture of the writer in the bio blip looks exactly like McLovin?
- Trustthedust, on 01/29/2009, -0/+2so how is this any different from tinyurl?
Lame. - Musimuse, on 01/29/2009, -1/+2This will definitely get sued, but hopefully they'll come up with a way to make it work legally...its a great opportunity to expand awareness of music.
More thoughts at www.musimuse.com - Yage2006, on 01/29/2009, -1/+2And then get sued by the RIAA ?
- Grogtron, on 01/29/2009, -1/+2And I think it would be brutally unfair to fail to mention that this is basically just 1pixelout.net's open source audio player with an HTML form to get the URL. I suspect the firefox extension is just a slightly massaged version of one of several URL shortener extensions.
I think it's a fine thing Songly has done here. But 99.9% of the lifting was done by someone else. - inactive, on 01/29/2009, -1/+2Which does absolutely nothing to address the fact that really, no one wants to hear your music. If they did, zune's "squirt" function would have been something other a complete failure.
- WriterSD, on 01/30/2009, -0/+1Ya, I won't be using this. I don't want to be sued for millions because I tweeted one song. :(
- phunlee, on 01/30/2009, -0/+1yep.
- myfilestore, on 08/22/2009, -0/+0Be Aware your account can be suspended by Twitter , as like me
- iammzac, on 01/29/2009, -2/+2Where do you find an mp3 database online for this?
