- venvision.org, on 06/25/2009, -0/+33We'll put it right over here, right on the refrigerator so everyone can see it.
- 1408OHSHIT, on 06/24/2009, -1/+30I actually like Octopus's Garden. Still, this video is hilarious.
- inactive, on 06/25/2009, -1/+18Octopus's Garden was one of my favorites.
- clemenza, on 06/25/2009, -0/+14Whoever wrote this doesn't know much about The Beatles. Ringo never had a desire to be a front man and most of the songs were written for him by John or Paul. It was more about bringing out the personalities of the four of them for the fans so they gave him something to sing on each album. George was much more frustrated that his songs were overlooked (and his songs were pretty damn good... he just happened to be in a band with two of the 20th century's greatest songwriters).
- ncalishome, on 06/25/2009, -0/+14Same with "With a Little Help From My Friends"... and a fine job he did on both
- theaceoface, on 06/25/2009, -0/+13 Imagine what Pete Best's song would be like
- dafragsta, on 06/25/2009, -1/+14Ringo Starr: I've got a song about an octopus.
John Lennon: 'I've got a song about an octupus'. Why don't you jam it up your ass? - Favreism, on 06/24/2009, -0/+12Dugg for the great Yellow Submarine animation... I love that movie.
- Bacherello, on 06/25/2009, -0/+10He already is. Paul died in '68, remember?
- ZestyNinja, on 06/25/2009, -2/+12Meh... Paul wrote Yellow Submarine specifically for Ringo to sing.
- drguerra, on 06/25/2009, -0/+7I get by with a little help from my friends.
- dafragsta, on 06/25/2009, -0/+7Are you kidding me? With a Little Help From My Friends? That's a good song. The Joe Cocker version is obviously better, but The Beatles version is just as memorable.
- billpilgrim, on 06/25/2009, -0/+6what a great parody. Ringo is my favorite member of the beatles, he's really underrated and a superb drummer, I think this vid hit the nail on the head.
- Koushiro, on 06/25/2009, -0/+6Well Ringo was the first one to have a Number 1 hit after the Beatles broke up.
- burningrobot, on 06/25/2009, -0/+6George is my favorite.
- cjh24, on 06/25/2009, -1/+6By looking at Ringo's apparent lack of innate ability, I think his relative longevity may be due to his not having sold his soul, like the rest of the band.
- macslut, on 06/25/2009, -0/+5Yes, but it was also John who said of Ringo, "He's not the best drummer in the world, he's not even the best drummer in the Beatles".
After that, he did offer praise for Ringo, so I think John sometimes just said a lot of stuff off the cuff and didn't care so much what others thought about it. - Shawno1, on 06/25/2009, -0/+5Loved the Yellow Submarine part.
- Ebsy, on 06/25/2009, -0/+5It's easy if you try.
- bjstiktrix, on 06/25/2009, -0/+4Screw the people who are digging down a Bill Hicks reference.
- BobbyMC, on 06/25/2009, -0/+430 years ago the Beatles had been dissolved for 9 years and Lennon was running headfirst into a flurry of bullets. It's as funny now as it was then.
- inactive, on 06/25/2009, -0/+2haha, much much worse.
- macslut, on 06/25/2009, -0/+2Their music will live forever, but the idea of ripping on Ringo at this point in time is just so much WTF.
It would be one thing if Ringo was spending all these years saying, "hey, ***** you, I'm a Beatle" like Astronaut Bing Gordyn, but the guy's got style and class if you ask me. - contradictator, on 06/25/2009, -0/+2MISS HIM, MISS HIM.
- rocknog, on 06/25/2009, -1/+3Wherever he is, John certainly will not. As much ***** as Ringo gets, the real tension in the band was between John and Paul, what with John constantly referring to Paul's work as "granny *****" and what have you.
- SmooveO, on 06/24/2009, -3/+5i'm not gonna lie. that made me wanna do lsd.
- burningrobot, on 06/25/2009, -1/+3I would've just stopped with "The Beatles were so ***** high they let Ringo sing a few tunes."
- inactive, on 06/28/2009, -0/+1haaha thats epic man, Octopus gareden ftw
- weirdo50, on 06/25/2009, -0/+1okay, somebody tell me what the ***** those links lead to
- johnleemk, on 06/26/2009, -0/+1I'm really impressed with whoever sang the song -- he sounds exactly like Ringo.
- Bacherello, on 06/25/2009, -0/+1The Beatles are timeless, *****.
- Hellahulla, on 06/25/2009, -0/+1Ahh ***** ... memories.
- contradictator, on 06/25/2009, -0/+1Man, lay off Ringo, he's cool, and Ock's Garden is a favorite of mine.
Also, Mr. Conductor FTW! - diggymow, on 06/25/2009, -0/+1Everybody told me, I was great!
- TomLaw1998, on 06/25/2009, -0/+1Yes Ringo's time in the Beatles was fairly memoriable, but then he exceeded all expectations with his next job on Thomas the Tank Engine. My kids will always remember that (not sure if it was ever on American TV though).
- geodebug, on 06/25/2009, -2/+2This was so funny...about 30 years ago.
- IgorUnchained, on 06/25/2009, -13/+12 Man, the Beatles were so high, they let Ringo sing a couple of tunes. Tell me they weren't partying. (singing) "We all live in a yellow submarine, yellow submarine." We all live in a-do you know how ***** high they were when they wrote that? They had to pull Ringo off the ceiling with a rake to sing that ***** song. (Beatle voices) John, get Ringo, he's in the corner. Ooh, look at him scoot, grab him! Hook his bellbottom, hook his bellbottom! He's got a song he wants to sing us. Something about living in a yellow tambourine or something. Ringo, Yoko's gone, come down, we can party again! They were real high, they wrote great music, drugs did have a positive effect. ----Bill Hicks RIP
- derektherock42, on 06/25/2009, -2/+1Octopus's Garden is the best song Ringo ever did. Everything else wouldn't have made it if it wasn't a Beatles song.
- inactive, on 06/25/2009, -3/+1thanks for ruining this song for me.
- victorycig, on 06/25/2009, -5/+3I will be so distraught if Ringo is the last Beatle standing.
- macslut, on 06/25/2009, -7/+2Ripping on Ringo, really?
What's next, a video where Mozart teases Salieri's inability to get laid?
Oh well, I'll forward this to my grandparents as this might give them a laugh...oh wait, they're dead. - aggyro, on 06/25/2009, -15/+2great, another exclusive college humor video that lacked comical value. thanks again!
- thrillhouse900, on 06/25/2009, -18/+1Ringo Sucks
