- Pseudorious, on 04/28/2009, -2/+72Missouri Nazis. I hate Missouri Nazis.
- a117, on 04/28/2009, -3/+73Why would anyone WANT to be a Nazi? What's the appeal?
- duncan202, on 04/28/2009, -3/+56Acutally you should be free to say hateful stupid racist stuff -- and we in turn should use our right to free speech to call them out as the douchebag ass hats that they are.
- Whatasillyhat, on 04/28/2009, -1/+44Ignorant and bigoted people get along well.
- lamejoketeller, on 04/28/2009, -5/+44***** yeah...I wanna troll some nazis
oh wait I can do that on 4chan - dopste, on 04/28/2009, -1/+33Boots, you don't get boots of the quality of jack boots anywhere.
Honestly when you absoultely, positively have to stamp on every ***** in the room, accept no subsitute.
How to beat anyone - Merciless Mocking and never take the seriously - Pseudorious, on 04/28/2009, -10/+42And the prize for the most ignorant comment of the day goes to....
- inactive, on 04/28/2009, -0/+23I think the anti-Nazis are more concerned with the whole holocaust thing and the flagrant racism of the Nazi party than the names and history of the Nazi party.
- Mship, on 04/28/2009, -3/+26Hello all my name is Clayton Bigsby, White Power. We have to get rid of all those black people with their big noses breathing all the white mans air, White Power.
- quamb, on 04/28/2009, -0/+22haha what??
"we aren't ***** Europeans, we actually have free speech in this country."
wow.
you sir need to get educated on the rest of the world. - Black6x, on 04/28/2009, -1/+21Seriously. I am not a Nazi supporter in any way, but they had some awesome uniforms. Unfortunately, they've ***** it up for everyone now.
- rolf, on 04/28/2009, -0/+20"As far as I've met nazis from USA, they don't know much about nazism, they don't even recognize top leaders from photos (say, Kaltenbrunner or Speer)."
If they were that intellectual, they probably wouldn't be neo-nazis and would just cloak their beliefs in a more subtle way. Half of it is, far and away, just a white trash movement and the other half are FBI informants:) - PeanutCheeseBar, on 04/28/2009, -5/+23That's ***** awful; you're comparing a modern political party to a group of sociopaths who systematically hunted down and executed people because of their religious beliefs and because people stood up against them. Despite the bad things that BOTH parties have done (with Democrats serving as enablers to the Republicans), we have the right to stand up and say that we disagree with the way things are, and we'll still wake up in our own beds the next morning. I have seen some utterly classless and tasteless commentary on Digg, but nothing so crass as to comparing the genocide of millions of people to the bungling of one party.
"We Americans" may not have a perfect political system, but I find it ***** laughable that you see fit to pass judgment on our way of life when you don't live in our country or experience the freedoms that we can. - rolf, on 04/28/2009, -0/+16You history is wrong. For instance:
"Incidentally Republicans were elected soon after victory. So fighting or punishing nazis was unnatural."
Democratic Truman was president at VE day (1945) and was so until 1953.
"In theory they were supposed to help against the soviet threat by spying, in reality they made up a lot of lies and so the arms posturing got escalated beyond the needs of human life on both sides to where even in US the new poor were children."
Oh please. Look up Operation Paperclip. The allies weren't stupid. They recruited and made use of people they wanted.
"Fact - after the victory in the wwII the official policy was to punish all known nazis, but the underlying reality was they not only got scot free majorly, they were handed over the nation (of west Germany) on a platter."
Former Nazis were disallowed for life in the Bundeswehr and any officer in the Bundeswehr had to agree with the actions of Stauffenberg. Most high government officials were not Nazis and definitely not in organizations such as the SS.
"Finally it is not about race"
It pretty much was. Or there concept of it, scientific or not. At the end, Nazism came down to loyalty to Adolf Hitler. From everything I read about it, it's not so much a coherent philosophy but the dictatorship of one man draped in the refineries of justification. - inactive, on 04/28/2009, -2/+16Usually because people feel like outcast and latch onto an easy identity. Some people may laugh or mock the idea but it is hard to grow up to be poor white trash, it is the last group you can still make fun of without being accused of being a bigot and there are no role models or identities to latch onto in the media. Poor blacks at least have a celebration of the ghetto and hip-hop stars who came up rich from it but there are no such worshipping of growing up in a mobile home or a junk yard.
- gasoline, on 04/28/2009, -5/+19Rather hateful comment.
Why aren't you put in prison? And don't say free speech, because you shouldn't be free to say hateful stupid stuff. - imnojezus, on 04/28/2009, -0/+14Nah, you're just feeding trolls there. Yelling at real racist 'tards sounds way more satisfying.
- gasoline, on 04/28/2009, -5/+18As far as I've met nazis from USA, they don't know much about nazism, they don't even recognize top leaders from photos (say, Kaltenbrunner or Speer). Unfortunately, the same goes for passionate anti-nazis. Pretty amusing, tho, once you start asking them basic questions about German history.
- jnc2134, on 04/28/2009, -1/+14The Anti-Nazi movement was only helped further by a fellow protester who successfully pulled off "the goat"
- johnhummel, on 04/28/2009, -0/+13I should mention that video games have figured this out. In any video game, there's no problem killing zombies, slime dripping aliens, and nazis. I mean - think about that. If you put any other human group in a game, people will freak out over killing them - blacks in Resident Evil 5, etc.
But nazi? If you kill people wearing a swastika, almost nobody protests - and those that do are considered cranks. - porl, on 04/28/2009, -0/+13i assume you mean exterminate in a non-violent manner? please explain how you would do this.
oh wait, you are condoning that which you condemn. - rwkyle, on 04/28/2009, -0/+12Now all you need is a retired black and white and a bridge and you would have it made.
- indygojones, on 04/28/2009, -0/+11They aren't really socialists.
From another thread: In fact, the Toledo branch of the International Socialist Organization were among those protesting this group's rally here several years ago. There was a riot and it made national news.
I'm guessing you aren't incredibly familiar with socialism. Nearly all socialist groups are dedicated to fighting racism. - twiztidsinz, on 04/28/2009, -0/+11They're not really socialists.....
- pinchduck, on 04/28/2009, -2/+12Why would anyone WANT to subvert their rational thought to any organization that provides them with ready made solutions? Let's hear it for Gay Republicans and Pro-Life Democrats. You know damned well they exist, and will never, ever be allowed to speak at their respective conventions.
- twiztidsinz, on 04/28/2009, -1/+11You want to arrest them for what is essentially a thought crime.
I personally don't like them, the KKK or any other hate groups, but until they act out, they're within their legal limits and I would (begrudgingly) defend their rights to do so because freedom of thought and freedom of speech are freedoms I enjoy. - DouglasQ, on 04/28/2009, -2/+12Oh nazis, you mischievous little scoundrels.
- res2, on 04/28/2009, -1/+11That is a slippery slope. You really want to arrest people, not because they have done anything illegal, but because they support something you don't?
Are you completely unaware of how the Nazi party solidified their hold on Germany prior to WWII? - warbrain, on 04/28/2009, -0/+10The American Nazi party is more KKK and racism-based than facism and nazism-based.
- uselessracing, on 04/28/2009, -0/+10They are even worse that Illinois nazis.
- kerrylkeane7, on 04/28/2009, -0/+9The appeal is to bond with other hateful people and feel stronger than everyone else.
How dare Nazis desecrate the St. Louis Arch. - Mship, on 04/28/2009, -0/+9Its funny that you say the rapper is low class but the people who are spewing hate and probably feels that that rapper should either go back to Africa or die, you feel they have the right to express themselves.
I find that very funny. - skintigh, on 04/28/2009, -3/+12The cuisine?
- Whatasillyhat, on 04/28/2009, -4/+13Venting your anger is great and effective against these pathetic beings, but we cannot censor their right to free speech. As long as we have a responsive voice that overwhelms them, they will always be called out as the ***** heads they are. No one takes them seriously. Let them die in ignorance.
http://stltoday.mycapture.com/mycapture/enlarge.as ...
Doesn't that just make you....gah. - rolf, on 04/28/2009, -1/+10"Normally I dont suggest to go out and kill someone, but someone should go and kill these ignorant bastards."
Not unless they go out and hurt someone or incite an action.
"Why aren't all of them put in prison? and don't say free speech, because you shouldn't be free to say hateful stupid racist stuff."
Then you obviously don't like freedom of speech. BTW, the way people normally talk now about some things will probably be considered ignorant in 100 years. - indygojones, on 04/28/2009, -0/+9I could start telling people that I'm not a human, but in fact a tiger. Even if I did actually believe it to be true, that probably wouldn't keep the rational observer from pointing out the fact that it's simply false.
In other words, where a group stands politically is more defined by what they do, not by what they call themselves. Take "compassionate conservatives" for an example. - Walwyn, on 04/28/2009, -1/+10The free T-Shirt
- Intermediary, on 04/28/2009, -0/+9Dude for a minute there, I thought you were serious.....
Love Dave Chapelle... - choppa1890, on 04/28/2009, -2/+10you sound like a nazi facist.
- RonADiSH, on 04/28/2009, -4/+12'he apparently mooned the neo-nazis'
that will show them..! - OMGIAMTHEMAN, on 04/28/2009, -1/+9because they didn't actually hurt anybody. They didn't actually commit any genocide. I have the freedom to say I'm glad so and so killed so and so - that's not a crime in America.
It *might* be a crime in parts of Europe which is why America doesn't sign their human rights treaties without reservations allowing for our version of freedom of speech - indygojones, on 04/28/2009, -0/+8Of course they aren't really socialists. In fact, the Toledo branch of the International Socialist Organization were among those protesting this group's rally here several years ago. There was a riot and it made national news.
I'm guessing you aren't incredibly familiar with socialism. Nearly all socialist groups are dedicated to fighting racism. - FXNGLAS, on 04/28/2009, -0/+8Mizz-urr-UH ?
- highwebl, on 04/28/2009, -0/+8He was raising the level of discourse.
- sailor, on 04/28/2009, -0/+8US Nazi's are concerned with one thing...white superiority. It is so funny that most of them are stupid, ignorant and uneducated who feel that they are better because they are white. Will I am white and there is not a skinhead or nazi that can even measure up to my morning *****.
- Intermediary, on 04/28/2009, -0/+7I don't find it funny at all... Scary as hell maybe, but definitely not funny...
- inactive, on 04/28/2009, -0/+7Exactly a nothing rapper mooned a bunch of nobodies
- warbrain, on 04/28/2009, -1/+8Vast hared for anyone.
- nalfeo, on 04/28/2009, -0/+7@alittleroy101
The Chezk Republic is another that I'm sure of (some KKK guy just got in trouble a few days ago for being a Holocaust denier). A quick google search shows that France, Switzerland, Belgium, Spain, and Austria have similar laws as well. -
