Pretty good IMO. I'm a big fan of both Radiohead and Prince. Too bad Prince is being such a douche about this video. - kolinkoolface2, on 05/31/2008, -5/+161don't ***** with thom yorke.
- haentz, on 05/31/2008, -2/+136Radiohead should cover Prince's songs and put them on Youtube...
- gannondork, on 05/31/2008, -25/+157Who cares about him anymore, he is just a big baby right up there with Metallica.
- inactive, on 05/31/2008, -0/+115They should settle this in a friendly game of basketball, followed by a generous meal of pancakes.
- bysin, on 05/31/2008, -17/+119That is the gayest version of "Creep" I've ever heard.
- antivibe, on 05/30/2008, -2/+97cant wait to hear how this turns out
- GalacticRerun, on 05/31/2008, -19/+108I can't believe this story is true when I read this:
"Yorke laughed" - ileftfark, on 05/31/2008, -10/+96Reason #4827 why Radiohead rules.
- aaaleman, on 05/30/2008, -8/+84Prince is just a douche, and not just about the video.
But that's just my opinion. I could be wrong. - Larz0rz, on 05/31/2008, -0/+67The part I couldn't believe was: "It's our ... song"
It's obviously edited.
Thom probably said:
"It's our ***** song!" - Volaitle86, on 05/31/2008, -11/+74worst creep cover eva
- speedyrev, on 05/31/2008, -2/+63Brought to you by the videographers of Cloverfield.
- carlwalton, on 06/02/2008, -3/+60Is it just me or did it sound like he didn't know the words?
- inactive, on 05/31/2008, -0/+41Then they can purify themselves in the waters of Lake Minnetonka.
- zulelord, on 05/31/2008, -4/+44Did Prince not just change the whole meaning of the song... listen closely. "I wish YOU were special" ... I think he tried to make Creep a happy song about how great he is.... I am stunned.
- SuckMyDigg, on 05/31/2008, -36/+67***** prince.
- AlanFang, on 05/31/2008, -5/+36I'LL WRITE IT AND WE'LL DO IT LIVE!
- gannondork, on 05/31/2008, -3/+31While you could be wrong, in this instance you are not.
- 7levels, on 05/31/2008, -11/+38Obligatory "I hate MrBabyMan" comment
- dafragsta, on 05/31/2008, -3/+27He is extremely talented, but Prince is a ***** douchebag. He railed on the Foo Fighters for covering Darling Nikki at live shows and said they should "write their own songs, don't use mine." Then played one of their songs at the Super Bowl halftime show. Alright, touche, and well played Prince.
So now he's doing Radiohead covers, and their most commercially popular song ever? What a ***** hypocrite. I could see if he was doing a song he appreciated that probably hasn't been covered gazillion times before, like Electionerring or something, but this is just flat out hypocrisy. I implore all of you to watch Kevin Smith's first "An Evening With..." for an awesome and entertaining take on Prince's ***** that even beats out Charlie Murphy's experience. He seems like the kind of person who doesn't give a ***** about another human being but himself.
Carmen Electra said she was expected to sleep in full-dress and in full make-up just in case he wanted to bust in at 2AM for a booty call. That kind of arrogance just makes me sick. - whygohome10, on 05/31/2008, -5/+29This is the biggest misconception about radiohead. Believe it or not they are not a bunch of manic depressive emos... Did anyone actually listen to In Rainbows?
- RadiatedAnt, on 05/31/2008, -2/+26Guitar solo towards the end was awsome.
The douche yelling epic memes towards the end kind of ruined the moment. - jimmypoops, on 05/31/2008, -21/+41That was a shocking performance! An insult to one of the mightiest bands in the world!
- MikeonTV, on 05/31/2008, -9/+30Sounds/looks like *****. I would love to hear/see a real good recording of Prince doing that.
- theragu40, on 05/31/2008, -6/+26Ditto. It's like he's singing it without any balls. The original song was great because it had kind of a raw, tormented feel to it. This just sounds limp and flaccid. Maybe money isn't the reason he doesn't want people to see it.
- raid517, on 05/31/2008, -6/+26Erm... have you listened to any Radiohead music? Thom Yorke isn't noted as being the most cheerful of souls on the planet.
Don't you just hate it when you have to explain a joke though? - jull1234, on 05/31/2008, -0/+20His crazy eye will ***** kill you.
- culbeda, on 05/31/2008, -0/+19This is Digg. Actual knowledge of the subject being mocked is flatly discouraged. It takes all the fun out of it.
But in the context of a discussion about the song "Creep", the joke WAS mildly amusing. - InferiorWang, on 05/31/2008, -1/+20No it's prince. Have you seen the Night with Kevin Smith videos? In one of them he talks about work that he did for prince and how crazy he is.
- blacksteve0, on 05/31/2008, -4/+21I was there, and it was a damn good cover.

(No, it's not a damn Rick Roll) - markperia, on 05/31/2008, -0/+16you twatbag
- Handonam, on 05/31/2008, -0/+14"...bitches."
- DontSayFanboy, on 05/31/2008, -0/+14What? Prince, egotistical? This is a shocking revelation!
Next you'll tell me that "My Name is Prince and I am Funky" makes him self centered. - inkyblue2, on 05/31/2008, -2/+15this comment made doves cry. :(
- krisscofield, on 05/31/2008, -3/+14Artists who continually pull this kind of ***** with their fans are only proving time and time again how out of touch with the times they, and in some cases (e.g. Metallica) how irrelevant they are.
- gannondork, on 05/31/2008, -2/+13So what I'm old, keep off my damn lawn. Besides Prince is soooo 80's.
- lukeb1222, on 05/31/2008, -3/+15Radiohead does it better...
- Jacolyte, on 05/31/2008, -2/+13Someone should explain to Prince that internets is promotion... very good, and free promotion.
- markbrown, on 05/31/2008, -1/+12I guess you've never seen Chapelle's Show.
- twiztidsinz, on 05/31/2008, -2/+12Unless I'm mistaken... I don't think it's 'just his management' and more "Hi, I'm The Artist Formerly Known As Prince, and I'm a huge douche.":
http://torrentfreak.com/prince-hires-web-sheriff-t ... - dafragsta, on 05/31/2008, -2/+13"He railed on the Foo Fighters for covering Darling Nikki at live shows and said they should "write their own songs, don't use mine." Then played one of their songs at the Super Bowl halftime show. Alright, touche, and well played Prince."
I think I said that. - bang, on 05/31/2008, -4/+15Prince's only requirement for a woman to be his girlfriend: You have to be able to read his mind.
- tjClassic82, on 05/30/2008, -20/+31It might not be Prince himself that has the issue, could be the management around him just trying to keep as much money in the pot as they can for themselves.
- Stroggoth, on 05/31/2008, -1/+12I'm surprised nobody has commented on the copyright, because it is not simple and it is the core of the problem. A performance manifests in a different copyright than the song; while Yorke has the copyright on the music, Prince has a performance copyright on this particular rendition. The recording of the performance in a fixed medium (ie. camcorder) by the audience is probably a violation of Prince's copyright. Yorke has just given free license to his music in this instance when he told them to go ahead and publish it. One also has to ask how much of a transformation the music has been through when comparing it to the original song, and what amount of it is left.
I think Prince, as much as a douche as he is, probably can prevent the distribution of his performance. This is not advice, I am not a lawyer. - blacksteve0, on 05/31/2008, -2/+13I'm not going to bury you because of your taste in music, I'm going to bury you because you write like a 12 year old.
- lukeb1222, on 05/31/2008, -2/+11I thought the same thing. How egotistical.
