- ddizzle, on 04/08/2008, -3/+42so dope, had no idea thom played drums
- lava, on 04/08/2008, -0/+31Anybody can play gui... er, drums.
- turpenine, on 04/08/2008, -2/+28***** it, who doesn't play drums these days?
- quasimot0, on 04/08/2008, -5/+25Go listen to your 50cent or fall out boy or whatever crap you kids listen on the radio today. Its a good song, not the best in the album, but certainly better than anything on thats on the radio.
- Protoss, on 04/08/2008, -0/+19Man ***** that, I'd definitely choose Radiohead over anyone's wedding, even my own.
- em11488, on 04/08/2008, -1/+17IM GOING TO KILL MY COUSIN FOR HAVING HER WEDDING ON THE ONLY VIABLE DAY FOR SEEING RADIOHEAD .....not literally, but her wedding is going to be ruined
how much would it cost for them to perform @ the wedding instead? - relaxeder, on 04/17/2009, -0/+16Last Flowers is better... http://youtube.com/watch?v=QxYemY8CQaw
Anyone know where to buy the In Rainbows bonus disc (without buying the box set)? - BRapscallion, on 04/08/2008, -6/+20 Who needs radio when there's Radiohead!
- jjpertusch, on 04/08/2008, -2/+15i agree, i think the real story here is how pitchfork.tv is much much more than i thought it would be. i haven't explored it that much yet, but it seems pretty well done... i hope they dont limit it too much to 'elitest hipster *****' (as a lot of people call it). we'll see.
- paloooz, on 04/08/2008, -1/+11Saying that it's not link spam doesn't make it not link spam.
- jjpertusch, on 04/08/2008, -0/+10im digging you up if only to slightly outway the mountain of digg downs you're about to receive.
- Axim, on 04/08/2008, -2/+11with a name like teh1337pirate i am assuming you are between the ages of 12-14.. give us a shout in about 8 years after you've finished college and then you'll be in a position to judge bands other than falloutboy and my chemical romance
- Axim, on 04/08/2008, -4/+12pitchfork strikes again, i've never seen yorke drum before so great find here..
i'm glad pitchfork has expanded into video as it's a really nice fit for them. mtv is completely bunk for underground music and muchmusic you have to be up at odd hours to catch their more eclectic stuff.. - hixxy, on 04/08/2008, -0/+8Thom is getting hairy, I like it.
- fletcherrr, on 04/08/2008, -0/+7Whoa whoa whoa, trickster. This is a misunderstanding. I should have posted a link showing the result page.
I wasn't trying to spam, I was just saying that video is so great that it almost justifies the outrageous costs on eBay. So I searched and chose the most egregious one that showed up. You and I agree about scalpers. ***** 'em -- especially the guy selling tickets for a grand each.
And, yes, I got my tickets from W.A.S.T.E. as well : ) - Fixthemedia, on 04/08/2008, -1/+8Sing like that and play drums like that and get back to me.
- Managua8Green, on 04/08/2008, -0/+7your /sarcasm is not appreciated, sir.
- krisper, on 04/08/2008, -1/+7Are you actually suggesting that Radiohead qualifies as "underground" music?
- grouchyman, on 04/08/2008, -0/+6Creep. Weirdo. What the hell are you doing here? You don't belong here.
:) - spider418, on 04/08/2008, -1/+7...a monkey which gets more women than all the digg users combined ... ^10.
- relaxeder, on 04/17/2009, -0/+6I don't know why you bother
Nothing's ever good enough for you - Impeller, on 04/08/2008, -3/+9Your comment is just an inrefutable proof of your musical stupidity.
BTW watch this, Radiohead - Nude (live)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kvoXMW0kZgE - Cink420, on 04/08/2008, -1/+7Also, like most musicians, Thom could probably play most instruments to a certain extent. He didn't exactly do anything complicated with them. There's a reason Thom only had a cymbal and a snare and Phil has a whole kit.
- Axim, on 04/08/2008, -1/+7no i'm just talking about pitchfork's presence, they obviously cover larger alternative/indie bands but also devote a fair amount of coverage to up and coming artists
- quasimot0, on 04/08/2008, -0/+6Agreed. Actually Last Flowers is my favorite track off of In Rainbows. Its such an incredible song. Is a perfect feeling of their old and new. Reminds me of 'Karma Police'
- orlyfactor, on 04/08/2008, -0/+62 grand for tickets? F That.
- revjustin2, on 04/08/2008, -1/+7your comment useless
- inactive, on 04/08/2008, -1/+7Reckoner FTW!
- Cink420, on 04/08/2008, -1/+6I really like that song...
- Sawta, on 04/08/2008, -0/+5Dugg for actually being able to hear the bass!
- drgmdp, on 04/08/2008, -0/+5it's your cousin, not your sister or son. i'd say go.
- crushtheenemy, on 04/08/2008, -0/+5you gotta check out the m83 video on there too.
sooo bros. - Canuck, on 04/08/2008, -0/+5I really wish people would stop posting comments like this. To me it is obvious that the various categories have different weighting. If one category, say entertainment | music, doesn't get many submissions then when it does something that makes it the top of the category it will rank higher on the main page.
This helps to stop the main page from only showing articles from one or two popular categories. - fletcherrr, on 04/08/2008, -0/+5Learn to English, please.
- inactive, on 04/08/2008, -0/+5Why so negative?
See what I did there?...Wasted talent. - Cink420, on 04/08/2008, -1/+5Lollapalooza ftw
- phoampiper, on 04/08/2008, -3/+7love it.
seeing em on may 5th down in florida...anyone else seeing them on this summer tour? - inactive, on 04/08/2008, -2/+6The better question is "who DOES play drums these days"? The answer: like all other acoustic instruments, a diminishingly small number of people, regrettably.
- cannonball, on 04/08/2008, -1/+5Radiohead is like any other band, and that song was more of a jam than a well produced song. I think its great music to just have on in the background, and fun to watch the dynamics of musicians playing together.
Also the Liars music is bad ass. - bambooshoot, on 04/08/2008, -2/+6haha he drops a stick just past halfway through :D
awesome video and a kick ass tune - quasimot0, on 04/08/2008, -0/+4I gotta say my favorite tracks off of In Rainbows gots to be:
-Reckoner
-All I Need
-Last Flowers - Managua8Green, on 04/08/2008, -0/+4One blowjob.
- inactive, on 04/08/2008, -0/+3I really liked Down is the New Up over both of those
- inactive, on 04/08/2008, -0/+3 I love banger and mash, yum
- Soonago, on 04/08/2008, -0/+3Dugg for pitchfork.tv. It's very impressive so far.
- indraneel24, on 04/08/2008, -0/+3Thom Yorke.
- nicc, on 04/08/2008, -0/+3damn...I would hate to see your comment of a live "there there"
triple drumming, FTW! :) - awwsnap, on 04/08/2008, -0/+3dugg for Punchup reference.
is your cousin, by any chance, a hypocrite opportunist? - sjps220, on 04/08/2008, -0/+3Check these out if you haven't:
Last Flowers - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WDdleGysNys
Down is the New Up- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tQ9le9DMd4Q&feature ... - phanfromcheese, on 04/08/2008, -0/+2"Bangers and Mash" should've been a standard track on In Rainbows - not just on the extra bonus disc. Dope video, especially with Thom on the skins. Lollapalooza 2008 is going to RAWK.
