sorry, it is suposed to be thoes! - quazywabbit, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4wow, I'm kinda shocked by the RIAA experiencing the digg effect. maybe we need more articles about the RIAA.
- dongiaconia, on 10/12/2007, -0/+36megs of download goodness from the RIAA? I will need to read it over and over... In fact, I should read it every time I start to use my computer, just to make sure I don't violate anything... Thank goodness for 6 mb/s dsl accounts....
Hmmm, I should add the url to my list of homepage tabs for firefox to open every time i run firefox....
(by the way, in case you wonder how to set it to do that just add a | and the url you want and each will open in a new tab, like this: http://www.google.com|http://www.digg.com|http://www.slashdot.org) - fascistpig, on 10/12/2007, -3/+6whoops

T-H-O-S-E dumbass. - GameGod, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I'll digg it just because it's a 6meg file on riaa.com.... :D
- teh_techie, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Digg badly needs an extention function. I don't like opening .pdf files in browsers. Goddamn..
-----------
That has to do with your PDF program settings, not the page you're visiting from. Check options in adobe to turn off the open PDF's in browser. - rft3rd, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4OMFG! TOES SEX!!! slap an M 17+ on that one will ya!
- Drumrboy247, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1w0w
taking a long time to load...
haha, sucks for the riaa...
we should go and find the biggest files on all of the various riaa type sites and digg em to the home page.
:D - osuadh, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1it was pretty well written in my opinion. They made the getting sued part secondary to your kids being demented by porn. People already know their gonna get sued, but now they know their kids could be watching Paris Hilton having sex. Stop the kids before they end up being terrible love makers!
- bludo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1haha , nice one
downloading at 2K/s
bring it down boys - Uriah, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Mmmm... Toes, Sex and Drug's. Sound's like one kick ass foot fetish party!
- pogo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Oh look, another mirror:
http://www.musicunited.org/musicLeafletDL_USA_HR-1.pdf - cartwheels, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Dugg for great justice. And for toe sex.
- planksconstant, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1you'd think the RIAA would be able to handle this kind of traffic... though i guess they're not used to having people actually access their site. :)
- salmonmoose, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Why are there spaces between the i and l in the words filter and files?
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0this is the first return for a search about "toes sex" wtf kind of community is this? WHERE IS ALL THE TOES SEX?
- FunkyGuy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I will click and reclick every digg article that shows a 6mb file...down with their servers
- DannySpace, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I could give two turds about the RIAA; however, this TOES SEX you speak of intrigues me. Where can I get it and would I have to wear a rubber? Cuz I hate rubberz!

- link470, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0thats a fantastic download rate. [2 KB/s]
- Ace2005, on 10/12/2007, -0/+01.8 KB/s
I think i could go without seeing this - trogdoor, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"The greatest risk to children on P2P is unwelcome
content, such as pornographic or violent images. Indeed,
studies have shown that porn is being widely shared on
the P2P networks and that people purposely misname
fi les to trick people into downloading them. A fi lter
that can block website addresses and keywords on Web
pages rarely blocks porn or violent images and videos
on P2P networks. Even fi les named “Winnie the Pooh” or
“Pokemon” have been found to contain pornography. "
Heh there is some truth to what the RIAA is saying, who hasn't ever had that happen lol. - teamgreen02, on 10/12/2007, -0/+016 KB/sec. +digg
- Peterix, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Nice :D
- Antinous, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0dugg to death, lol i like it :D
- Crazyguy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0behold the digg effect
- matcrawf, on 10/12/2007, -0/+09.2kb/s. +digg
- CUBApete, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0That had me laughing the whole time through...well, I'm off to Pirate Bay :)
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Digg.com - Providing a means and a ways of DDOS since 2004.
- Qwertie, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0They must be trying this new tactic because the kids didn't respond to direct marketing:

"Remember kids, when you pirate MP3s, you're downloading COMMUNISM!" - Computer_Kid, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Yeah! I helped take down the RIAA!
- keikei, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"Server not found"
Nice!! - j-oz, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Do you guys NOT know how to open another browser window while the pdf loads? What about Firefox, doesn't it "tab"?
- snapya, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0lame......
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0this story is funny in so many ways.....
- ske1fr, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0When you (eventually) download the RIAA's latest pdf you're downloading propaganda...
Remember the wonderful "downloading Communism" poster? - fraged, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"How come kids can be sued for downloading stuff? I would have thought that in view of their age they are not liable..."
their not sueing the kids, their sueing the parents who provide the internet access that they use to download the music. - Audiofan2, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0From my BMG cancellation: I have been a member for six years and have ordered many CDs from BMG both through my BMG mail membership and BMG's site yourmusic.com I work in the music industry and have for twelve years. Due to Sony/BMG's lack of concern for my computer via the unauthorized installation of Rootkits I will never buy another Sony/BMG CD.
- jasqwerty, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Sorry to interrupt the nice circle jerk you got going, but can anyone explain how stealing their music should be legal and/or ethical? I'm sure the pdf is full of nice propaganda, but I don't really want to wait for it to load.
No caring for the artist bullcrap either, because when you steal it, you're giving them ZERO dollars. You might not like them, but remember, try to justify why you're stealing from them, either legally or ethically, but preferably both. - sedgemonkey, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Sorry to venture off topic, but I freaking hate opening PDF links without warning. PDFs have always been the worst file format to load for me for some reason.
- alphgeek, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I don't know about the rest of you but I am downloading the article because I am really worried about the threat of p2p...I heard somewhere that running emule can make your screen explode...true?!? I think it was posted at www.mpaa.org.
I just hope it wasn't ME that made the riaa site crash...I would feel so bad...I just want to learn.... - alphgeek, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Also I read in the pdf that I could get SPYWARE from using p2p?!? I would hate that cos it might wreck all my special Sony CDs I play on my computer.
The riaa tell me I need a ROOTKIT to help keep my computer safe from pirates, where can I get one?!? - Carbito, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Wow, the RIAA server sucks, this is the second time its been digg effected.
- invader, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0i'm only downloading it because it's from riaa.com.. i'm not even going to read it
it's basically downloading for a few hours at 2.2 KB/sec to fight terrorism - foxhoundadmin, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0lol, pravuil.
- trogdoor, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0^^ I don't know. I just copied and pasted directly from the pdf.
- Jessimo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"can my child access pornography through 'p2p'?"
uhh..... i thought this was about music. is the RIAA protecting pornographer's business now? let's take everything out of context like they do: The RIAA wants kids to buy pornography instead of download it. - greenknight, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I don't have all night to download that stupid thing. I agree with the idea that we need warning that its a PDF.
- doswizard, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0To those complaining that they weren't "warned" about this being a .pdf file; ever take a look at the status bar at the bottom of your browser before clicking a link? Internet exploder likes to hide this valuable information, but it should be displayed by default in Firefox.
RIAA Propoganda, no digg... - RobertH, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Lets bury the musicunited mirror too ... with all our digging
