- motang, on 11/25/2007, -0/+2What does that have to do with the RIAA?
- mbthompson, on 11/25/2007, -0/+1The simple fact is that the MAFIAA is aware of the Business School (never mind the school of law) at Harvard having already published numerous studies and articles citing the fallacy of thinking that p2p file-sharing hurts record label sales. There is so much damning evidence that the RIAA would stand to lose every single court case they have filed, and possibly even have some civil rulings overturned in the appellate courts if the info were made popular. It's really interesting stuff if you get into Lexus Nexus/EBSCO Host or any of the other online databases and look up some of the papers that have been written. Hopefully mine will be published soon (when I get the $140 it costs to have that done), though my study was done at a different university that probably has a better representative sample of the U.S. population than Harvard would have.

- technoredneck, on 11/25/2007, -0/+1haha, MAFIAA legal bullies have always been scared of Harvard (and Ivy League schools in general). They know Harvard will rip them a new one, and the other ones probably will too, but their egos are too inflated to realize this, lucky for us.
- technoredneck, on 11/25/2007, -0/+1I don't know, obtaining an education, perhaps. Most people lose their v-card in high school nowadays anyway.
