Like George & John he was often overlooked and generally upstaged by other band members, but his contribution to the Floyd Sound was under-appreciated, and missed when absent (as in "The Final Cut").

    Thanks for the music, Richard. The time has gone, the song is over. Thought I'd something more to say...
