- Phil1ip123, on 03/11/2008, -1/+4In my opinion, Live at Pompeii is the greatest compilation of Pink Floyd's music in existence.
- etherreal, on 03/12/2008, -0/+1I can agree with that.
- GuitaristTom, on 03/12/2008, -0/+2yeah the best part is when the volcano erupts

- perhapsimcrazy, on 03/11/2008, -6/+26old, and they will never be the same without Roger Waters, but still kick ass.
Keep Praying for a reunion tour!- jostheller, on 03/11/2008, -8/+3Roger Waters was the greatest part of floyd. He was the driving force behind their concept album years (DSOTM, WYWH, Animals, Wall, Final Cut) and really the bands name should have been retired when he left.
If you are a fan of the 5 albums I listed above, make sure you check out Rogers solo work, especially "Pro's and Con's of Hitchhiking" which is literally one of my all time favorite albums. "The Final Cut" is another album that is vastly underrated... "I held the blade in trembling hands prepared to make it BUT... Just then the phone rang, I never had the nerve to make the final cut."- bluering, on 03/11/2008, -0/+2Ah another Roger Waters fan, Pro's and Con's has a few good songs, but the real deal for Roger Waters fans is "Amused to Death." That album got me through Engineering School. With a really good set of headphones and no distractions, I would run energy and material balances for 80 minutes at a time. In my humble opinion it is one of the greatest album "experiences" ever made. You put in on and listen from start to finish. Now days it seems like everyone (me included) just does shuffled play lists of random good songs. Just like "The Wall" and DSOTM, Amused is best served in its entirety. Anyone that calls themselves a Pink Floyd should listen at least once.
- ellisgl, on 03/11/2008, -0/+1Final Cut was the cause of the whole fiasco. Also it's not part of the box set. But it was a great album. Damned David Gilmore!
- jostheller, on 03/11/2008, -0/+1Weird. Id say Amused to death is the album that is very different from what he was about. It has less of the concept album approach then Pros, and cons, Radio K.A.O.S, final cut, wall, wywh, animals, and dsotm. Don’t get me wrong, I like the album however I really enjoy concept albums and its concept seemed less there. It is more radio friendly that is for sure
I think the biggest problem with Pros and Con’s is he sacrificed making a radio friendly album for telling of the story. However the complexity and emotion that is present in that album is extraordinary. Personally if give me a sense of freedom, and that is why I love it. I am probably in a minority though… I imagine most don’t get what he did with that album.

- Barbarino, on 03/11/2008, -1/+2I saw Roger do DSOM last summer, it was a religious experience.. I've budgeted 1000 bucks so if he comes back, I'm buying front row seats...
- Slowface, on 03/11/2008, -0/+1Absolutely, I saw him play at Darien Lake in Buffalo, 10 rows from the stage. Before that I thought seeing Roger Waters live would happen when pigs fly...but then I saw him and a pig flying. Amazing.
- heavyd14, on 03/11/2008, -2/+2Roger Waters is a tool. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lvhglatOE3E
- banter, on 03/12/2008, -0/+1How?
- ekravchenko, on 03/12/2008, -0/+1Roger is very cocky. I think Gilmour was the primary influence on the musical side. Roger, however did write the lyrics
- banter, on 03/12/2008, -0/+1How?
- oldhick, on 03/11/2008, -0/+3Roger Waters was certainly a creative force. However, he was also a control freak. If you saw the Live 8 shows you'll see his voice is completely gone as well. David Gilmour was also an extremely creative force in Pink Floyd and is often overshadowed by Waters.
I love Waters solo work and agree that the "Pros and Cons of Hitchhiking" is a must listen, but it is definitely an acquired taste.- jostheller, on 03/11/2008, -0/+1Gilmour was a creative force behind melding the guitar and music with the concept Roger created. Neither Gilmour nor Waters are winning any awards for vocals. Sure I like them (my favorite band) however compared to someone like Robert Plant its no comparison. The problem with Floyd without waters is they and no lyrical or album theme direction. Momentary Lapse of Reason is an album whose title is very fitting because its a horrid album that should have never come into existence. Then on the division bell they realized that they couldnt write lyrics and hired people to write their album like Waters would have. That album is mildly okay...
I think it is funny that Waters himself hated the way he sounded. I wonder how common that is of vocalist?

- sgtpppr, on 03/11/2008, -0/+2Waters may have been better back in the day, but if you've heard gilmour and waters recently, you would see that gilmour aged like wine and waters aged like vinegar. Waters just doesn't have any voice left and every time I see in an interview about pink floyd, it's him being bitter and resentful. Pulse proved you didn't need waters to have a mind blowing pink floyd experience.
- jostheller, on 03/11/2008, -8/+3Roger Waters was the greatest part of floyd. He was the driving force behind their concept album years (DSOTM, WYWH, Animals, Wall, Final Cut) and really the bands name should have been retired when he left.
- brandonhardee, on 03/11/2008, -10/+4David Gilmour is the junk!
? - aphexcoil, on 03/11/2008, -7/+26Pink Floyd is definitely one of the best bands ever to grace the Earth. Their album, "The Piper at the Gates of Dawn," spawned a whole generation of LSD experimentation.
- mediaspree, on 03/11/2008, -5/+71We all know Rock And Roll attained perfection in 1974, it's a scientific fact.
- xdeliriumx, on 03/11/2008, -2/+2cant argue with that. +1
- ALink2ThePast, on 03/11/2008, -1/+8Half way between Dark Side of the Moon and Wish You Were Here, I'll agree to that
- hpvforum, on 03/11/2008, -5/+2With the formation of Blondie?
- clo575, on 03/11/2008, -1/+2The Ramones.
- andrewgreene, on 03/11/2008, -0/+1One cannot argue the logic of Homer Simpson.
- mikhial66, on 03/11/2008, -0/+2I'd take '76. Half way between Wish You Were Here and Animals
- hektur, on 03/11/2008, -1/+4I agree, it did attain perfection because Rush got Neil Peart in their band that year.
- AmericansRevolt, on 03/11/2008, -0/+0argh, i just got another headache trying to figure out if DSOTM or WYWH is better.... apples to oranges i guess... but i dont know...
- LegomanArt, on 03/11/2008, -0/+1At first I thought you were making a reference to the Pink Floyd single "Apples and Oranges," but then I realized you weren't that clever. Too bad, man. Could have had the gold.
- LegomanArt, on 03/11/2008, -0/+1I still think 1973 was the first real climax to perfection in terms of rock music. 1974 was more of a transition period between albums for a lot of bands - Pink Floyd, of course, being one of them. Though, to be fair, they toured for most of ' 74.
- quinlan, on 03/12/2008, -0/+1i agree. queen debuted in 1973. and in 1974 they released Sheer Heart Attack. i like 1973.
- obe1kenobi, on 03/12/2008, -0/+1That's true. The year the Lamb Lies Down On Broadway (Genesis for those who don't know) was released.

- ALink2ThePast, on 03/11/2008, -16/+6I love Pink Floyd, but I find it weird that so many of these concert vids are making the front page, its not like they're new performances or anything
Floyd viral marketing maybe?- WWWoody, on 03/11/2008, -3/+2Yes, because that's what they're all about.
- ALink2ThePast, on 03/11/2008, -3/+2It wasn't an accusation . . . just a suggestion
plus . . . Publius Enigma is about as Viral Marketing as it gets- andrewgreene, on 03/11/2008, -0/+2As far as I'm aware, that may be the first know use of the net using viral marketing. That it happened in 1994 astounds me.
- ALink2ThePast, on 03/11/2008, -3/+2It wasn't an accusation . . . just a suggestion
- drgmdp, on 03/11/2008, -3/+1it's just a link to the past

- Harbinger67, on 03/11/2008, -1/+3Like, 2. Heaven forbid post something other than about how the dollar is on a Hindenburg-like descent or how to 'hack' some stupid aspect of your life.
- WWWoody, on 03/11/2008, -3/+2Yes, because that's what they're all about.
- heliox, on 03/11/2008, -3/+33They don't make 'em like that anymore.
Fan-bands come and go. Bands like Pink Floyd and the Stones - they'll last forever.- drgmdp, on 03/11/2008, -5/+6WTF? how do the stones get in there?
- porkdanish, on 03/11/2008, -5/+2Tell us more about the good old days grampa!
- oldhick, on 03/11/2008, -0/+1They weren't that long ago. But gone are the days when 12 months were dumped into perfecting every single individual string bend and harmonic.
- heliox, on 03/11/2008, -0/+1Well my boy. They used to make bands that put a lot of thought and effort in thier music. They actually wrote it. They felt it.
- porkdanish, on 03/11/2008, -0/+1If you gather your opinions of "today's music" from the MTV and the FM radioes I can see where you went wrong. We have this new thing called the internet (you're using it right now believe it or not!) where choosy listeners can find talented musicians -- and vice versa also too!
You just have to want it.- heliox, on 03/11/2008, -0/+1I'm looking. and I found a few. Maybe I'll be saying the same thing 30 years from now.
- porkdanish, on 03/11/2008, -0/+1If you gather your opinions of "today's music" from the MTV and the FM radioes I can see where you went wrong. - bluenash, on 03/12/2008, -0/+1i'm giving it away, but i was a teenager at the animals tour...mesmerizing would probably be an adequate description. if memory serves they did three encores. was it Waters who on the last encore when the band walked out nonchalant like the crowd wasn't even there turned and addressed the crowd and said something to the effect "Oh, there you are". it went up in smoke. best concert i ever saw, and i saw a lot.
- sgtpppr, on 03/11/2008, -0/+6Geez, tell the stones to PLEASE stop. They honestly believe they'll last forever and they are like mummies playing live. It's so overproduced on the albums and live that I doubt it's even them playing anymore.

- widdershins, on 03/11/2008, -3/+14did you exchange a walk-on part in the war for a lead role in a cage?
- infinity777, on 03/11/2008, -3/+16Video ends before the song is over, lame....
- alexdemers, on 03/11/2008, -1/+37If you really link this video and song, watch Comfortably Numb from the same concert. In my opinion, it's the best performance of a song ever. The solo at the end is just amazing.
Check it out: http://youtube.com/watch?v=JWnapx502uQ- tool4life, on 03/11/2008, -1/+2Wipes off tear. I thank you good sir.
- skyshock1, on 03/11/2008, -0/+3One of my favs! I also really dig this video for Time with an equally cool outro solo - http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=ntm1YfehK7U&feature= ...
- Key2gb, on 03/11/2008, -0/+1go see the Australian Pink Floyd show...they replicate this perfectly, disco ball and everything..and the music is PERFECT (don't believe me? check reviews on their website... i think it's aussiefloyd.com)
- heliox, on 03/11/2008, -0/+1That was awesome. I am going to find that DVD.
These guys are just epic. Look at how completely effortless they look making that music. Few bands are that smooth and that timeless. Such a clean performance.
RIP Syd Barrett - happyfundave, on 03/12/2008, -0/+1No words... should have sent a poet
- darkchild82, on 03/12/2008, -0/+1the Pulse performance of 'Comfortably Numb' is an audio-visual masterpiece ! its my favourite live performance of like - all time !
- moebis, on 03/11/2008, -1/+8Love Pink Floyd, great performance.
- coit, on 03/11/2008, -2/+13I love Pink Floyd, but there are plenty of better clips on Youtube than this one... Not even the whole song.
- skippyatuw, on 03/11/2008, -0/+4That was really cool, although I'm disappointed it got cut off at the end.
- piznut, on 03/11/2008, -15/+11Like Dale Earnhardt, Pink Floyd's last hit was the wall.
- bjornski, on 03/11/2008, -2/+3Heheh, good joke. But I still liked "The Final Cut" a whole lot.
I can't stand any of the "new" Floyd, without Waters.- dezmo, on 03/11/2008, -1/+3you need to open up a little, Division Bell is an amazing album by any standard.
- briguymaine, on 03/11/2008, -2/+11holy *****, you've been holding on to that little gem of a comment for years haven't you?
- dhVyse, on 03/11/2008, -3/+3Uh, lies, any REAL Floyd fan knows Dark Side of the Moon was their best, followed by loads of good songs in the 80s on Division Bell, Meddle, Animals etc.. PIGS FTW.
- drgmdp, on 03/11/2008, -1/+1the whole meddle album is a winner. i don't like the wall that much..
- etherreal, on 03/11/2008, -1/+4Meddle FTW, even if it is just for Echoes.
- DeadSkinMask, on 03/11/2008, -1/+2Saucerful of secrets, More & Meddle for me.

- griz, on 03/11/2008, -1/+2Was the fact that they haven't toured in 15 years a hint?
- Thrilltone, on 03/11/2008, -3/+4My favorite Floyd tune is Grantchester Meadows
http://thrilltone.com/psychedelic
Dave and I both use Kinman pickups- DeadSkinMask, on 03/11/2008, -0/+3Grandchester Meadows is one of Pink Floyds most underrated songs. Along with Cymbaline & Green Is The Colour.
- dodgejon, on 03/11/2008, -2/+7They are old, but I swear the music just gets better.
- timlee, on 03/11/2008, -3/+9No, I think it's just the newer bands and artists are just getting worse. The 60's and 70's really set the bar in terms of music and few contemporaries have come close... very few.
- WWWoody, on 03/11/2008, -2/+3YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!
- dezmo, on 03/11/2008, -2/+3perfect response
- revjustin2, on 03/11/2008, -5/+2Oh good lord, this comment shows up in every Digg article that has anything to do with music. This comment is much like Dark Side of the Moon in that classic rock snobs can revisit it again and again and again and again and again.
"I think that new comments on Digg are just getting worse. 2006 really set the bar in terms of comments and very few new Diggers have come close...very few".
- WWWoody, on 03/11/2008, -2/+3YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!

- thokks, on 03/11/2008, -2/+19This is great, this concert was about 13 years ago but it doesn't get old.
Best Floyd album FTW - Animals.- bjornski, on 03/11/2008, -1/+3Fully agreed.
- dhVyse, on 03/11/2008, -1/+7Yeah Animals for sure.
- FecalHurler, on 03/11/2008, -1/+4Big fan of Wish You Were Here... Have a Cigar?
- whittmadden, on 03/11/2008, -1/+2Dogs was my favorite on that one!
- sodade, on 03/11/2008, -1/+1Get high and try to count the number of times "stone" is repeated.
- bjornski, on 03/12/2008, -0/+1"Sheep" was my favorite. HUGELY political, and with a message everyone should learn.
- timlee, on 03/11/2008, -1/+15Dude, if you're going to link a great song, at least link to the whole thing. At least 1 minute or two was cut off. The whole song can be heard here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dHcHH5pHa1c
- porkdanish, on 03/11/2008, -27/+7For the 5 people who'll read this before I'm dugg into oblivion:
I've always found Pink Floyd rather self indulgent and lacking in passion. Yes, they're talented etc. but best/greatest/all time/ever? Stop smoking weed and expand your musical horizons a bit more and you'll find much better artists.- xdeliriumx, on 03/11/2008, -1/+10i wish i had a "bury into oblivion" button.
- tool4life, on 03/11/2008, -1/+10Well at least give an example of a group of artists that are more talented. Don't just tell people to widen their horizons. Theres a good reason why you are about to be dugg down to hell.
- WWWoody, on 03/11/2008, -5/+2DRAGONFORCE!!!!! IT'S ***** EXTREME!!!!!! ***** YEAH!!
- revjustin2, on 03/11/2008, -3/+1porkdanish specifically said that they WERE talented. His point was that they were self-indulgent and lacking in passion. I think that if you looked that the history of the band and listened, in sequence, to their discography, you can pretty much hear that as Roger Waters gains more creative control over the band, his perfectionism and ego start to overtake the raw, bleeding edge experimentation of early Floyd and transform it into something that is indeed much more calculated, controlled, and cerebral. With that it mind, it is feasible to assert that this keeps them from hitting that "Best Band Ever" status that so many Pink Floyd fans seem to think is reserved for them. They are a good band. They are ONE of the greats, but they lack that emotive quality (even in their most emotional material like "The Wall") that puts them on par with a band like The Beatles, who were also very experimental, but maintained some actual emotion. With PF, you are listening to ideas being presented to you in a well-crafted manner, but you never actually feel anything other than, perhaps, amazed, impressed, and/or stoned.
PS - I like Pink Floyd, so don't go there.- tool4life, on 03/11/2008, -1/+0Ok, you make a good point and I obviously overlooked that part of his response, but if you are saying that the Beatles' music is more passionate and moves you more than the sounds of Floyd, then I am done here. However, I do agree with the fact that you cannot label them as the best band ever. In fact, I don't think any band should have the privilege to be labeled as such. Right now, I'm really into Tool, Opeth, Pink Floyd, and some other similar artists, but I can't quite rank them.
PS - I'm glad you like Pink Floyd, so I definitely won't go there
- tool4life, on 03/11/2008, -1/+0Ok, you make a good point and I obviously overlooked that part of his response, but if you are saying that the Beatles' music is more passionate and moves you more than the sounds of Floyd, then I am done here. - alucinante, on 03/11/2008, -1/+2yeah please let us know who's better...
- porkdanish, on 03/11/2008, -4/+1There's really no point in getting into an argument over tastes -- it's all subjective isn't it? It just seems to me that making absolute statements about being the "best ever" indicates lack of experience with other music or perhaps more devotion to the cult of fandom than to real, open-minded musical experience.
Personally, I couldn't say any music/group/performer is the best ever! If it's good and can really move you it might be "the best right now" but saying the best ever -- especially of a band that's just rehashing its greatest hits -- is a little short sighted. - etherreal, on 03/11/2008, -1/+5Does it really require pot to enjoy Floyd? I think not. The whole breadth of their career covers so much different kinds of music, and the best thing is they were brave enough to make tunes even if they weren't radio friendly (ie, anything over 4 minutes long).
- clo575, on 03/11/2008, -0/+1go drop acid hippie (ie, pigs fly high in the sky as I collect frequent miles high on the pig side if the moon ) damn! this *****'s good.

- shadowman99, on 03/11/2008, -1/+5I saw the Momentary Lapse or Reason Tour in 88. Great live show. I doesn't really carry over to video.
I wish things weren't so weird between them all, especially Roger. It would be nice to have one last great album/CD from a reunited group. That doesn't seem likely after they appeared at Live 8. Tempers were short.- davewashere, on 03/11/2008, -1/+2It's a shame too, because I thought they played really well together at Live 8.
- NeonGod, on 03/11/2008, -0/+2It's actually Dave that's holding out now.
- pistboy, on 03/11/2008, -1/+4Oddly enough, I have been listening to the Pulse album at the moment, odd if you ask me. As big as Floyd is, I still feel that they don't get enough respect. Not that they don't get a lot of respect. I honestly don't think they ever will get enough though. Way ahead of their time!!
- whoitis, on 03/11/2008, -0/+1I thought it was odd to see this on the front page too. I was searching for floyd concerts on youtube yesterday. I've been listening to a lot of floyd lately. If only they would tour one more time.
- dylansbeard1, on 03/11/2008, -3/+24Hey look! a sixteen year old discovered Pink Floyd for the first time.
wow!!
thokks-yes, Animals is the best album.- dewdogg, on 04/07/2008, -0/+0Well.. everyone has to discover PF for the first time once in their life... then shortly after discover Led Zeppelin, the Bealtes, and the fact that they get funny feelings in their pants when girls walk by.
- freshyill, on 03/11/2008, -0/+3My first concert ever was Pink Floyd on this tour, in Philadelphia. Nothing has matched it yet. Live 8 came close, but I was drunk.
- bjornski, on 03/11/2008, -1/+2I personally thought the Roger Waters "Radio K.A.O.S." tour was far superior.
But that was a good Floyd tour. I got nosebleed seats from a scalper. Imagine my surprise when they turned out to be the best place to watch the show from.- dlm85, on 03/11/2008, -1/+2I agree with you. The Radio K.O.A.S. was great. The band was great Mel Collins on Sax and Andy Fairweather-Low on guitar. The bonus was Paul Carrack playing a couple of Squeeze song before the show.
- bjornski, on 03/11/2008, -1/+2I personally thought the Roger Waters "Radio K.A.O.S." tour was far superior.
- teh_spazz, on 03/11/2008, -1/+1Floyd 8-)
- clo575, on 03/11/2008, -20/+2Pink Floyd SUCKS.
- bevans, on 03/11/2008, -3/+5I think this is seriously the first time I have ever read or heard anyone say that.
- porkdanish, on 03/11/2008, -3/+0You're clearly not a fan of the Sex Pistols: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sex_Pistols#Johnny_Ro ...
- Phil1ip123, on 03/11/2008, -0/+2At one point the Sex Pistols tried to get Barrett to produce one of their albums, so they didn't all hate Floyd.

- anonatron, on 03/11/2008, -1/+3I am not even going to give you the digg down and give you the attention that you feel you need. Go troll over at gamefaqs where you will be among other 9 year old boys who think they are cool.
- clo575, on 03/11/2008, -4/+1I don't really need attention I just simply think they suck.
- bevans, on 03/11/2008, -3/+5I think this is seriously the first time I have ever read or heard anyone say that.
- allengeer, on 03/11/2008, -3/+1nice. this is on the front page. democratic media ftw.
- trumpeter617, on 03/11/2008, -0/+4Absolutely brilliant.
- SiliconRain, on 03/11/2008, -4/+1Mmmm... only 14 years old. Does this count as progress for Digg?
- revjustin2, on 03/11/2008, -1/+2Yeah. If SiliconRain has already heard of it, it can't be considered progress. Get with it, folks!
- displaced1, on 03/11/2008, -2/+3How I wish
How I wish you were here... - rob66b, on 03/11/2008, -1/+8I love that every day someone discovers the brilliance of Pink Floyd
- damndj, on 03/11/2008, -2/+1Well this is timely.
- turbovince, on 03/11/2008, -6/+3How is this NEWS ?
- displaced1, on 03/11/2008, -0/+3Its a nice break from vegetarian hippies, bloggers claiming the end is near, new ways to catch cancer, teens losing hair and rate-my-pig links.
- revjustin2, on 03/11/2008, -1/+3It's not. It's ENTERTAINMENT, which is the other and arguably more widely used function of digg.
- meed, on 03/11/2008, -4/+2However much I like Pink Floyd, I just don't see such a old concert as digg worthy.
-once skipped half a day of college classes after starting to watch the video of the pulse concert durring lunch and couldn't turn it off.- revjustin2, on 03/11/2008, -1/+1I have missed a lot more time while PF was playing and I couldn't turn it off, but I had some chemical assistance.
- mikhial66, on 03/11/2008, -0/+1Go ahead and find a newer Pink Floyd concert.
- meed, on 03/11/2008, -0/+1Ok, how about live8?
- thebacon, on 03/11/2008, -2/+5That was Rock And Roll !, not today's BS music

- Carsonauto, on 03/11/2008, -1/+12Pink Floyd is an automatic digg.
I think the one thing Floyd did that no one else did, or does today, was reinforce the idea of an album. All their albums (since their very first) have had a theme, a central idea. They were meant to be listened to from the first song to the last. Songs today don't do that. You're supposed to pick out the one song you like and play it a thousand times. Pink Floyd is the only band where I will only listen to the whole album. So much so, that I went ahead and listened to all 15.- etherreal, on 03/11/2008, -1/+1The only bands that I can think of today that has carried on the tradition of Album Oriented Rock are:
Tool (Lateralus and 10,000 days)
Nine Inch Nails (Fragile, Year Zero)
The Smashing Pumpkins (Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness, Machina)
Though my entry into AOR was probably Siamese Dream. - Key2gb, on 03/11/2008, -1/+4The Mars Volta and Coheed and Cambria to name a few from today but you're right...you don't listen to Pink Floyd songs, you listen to Pink Floyd albums
- etherreal, on 03/11/2008, -1/+1Coheed and Cambria make my ears bleed.
- hornback, on 03/11/2008, -2/+0I take it you've never heard of Rush.
- etherreal, on 03/11/2008, -0/+2Rush is hardly a band of "today".
- obe1kenobi, on 03/12/2008, -0/+1The Flower Kings, Spock's Beard, Porcupine Tree.
- etherreal, on 03/11/2008, -1/+1The only bands that I can think of today that has carried on the tradition of Album Oriented Rock are:
- gordonf238, on 03/11/2008, -3/+1Pity, music ain't what it used to be. From Bach to the Beatles, those tunes will live on forever. It sure is a shame the industry has become so commercialized and saturated with sex symbols, the artistry gets lost. Go Britney!
- gordo2323, on 03/11/2008, -0/+4Wish They Were Here...
- wedgemartin, on 03/11/2008, -1/+4To this date, the best concert I've ever been to was on this tour, where they played the entire dark side of the moon album at Clemson University ( 94? ). Yes i said 'album' because that's what we said back in the day hehe.
- bluering, on 03/11/2008, -0/+1Same here brother. Vanderbilt Stadium in Nashville, Tn for me. I consider myself lucky to have ever seen them play (even if it was without Roger Waters).
- jontuttle, on 03/12/2008, -0/+1Same here. I saw them at RFK stadium in DC.
- bluering, on 03/11/2008, -0/+1Same here brother. Vanderbilt Stadium in Nashville, Tn for me. I consider myself lucky to have ever seen them play (even if it was without Roger Waters).
- Todash19, on 03/11/2008, -14/+3Any Pink Floyd without Roger Waters is not Pink Floyd.
David Gilmore is a douche.
Sorry, but buried.
The Wall is still one of my top 5 albums of all time.- gordo2323, on 03/11/2008, -7/+2Other way around, pal.
Gilmore = awesome
Waters = total darsh... - mywhitenoise, on 03/11/2008, -4/+2The Wall was one of the worst Floyd albums.
I'd take Meddle, Darkside, Wish You Were Here, Animals, or Atom Heart Mother over The Wall any day.- Phil1ip123, on 03/11/2008, -1/+1Atom Heart Mother was probably their worst album ever. I even remember hearing Water's say he wouldn't play that song for a million dollars.
- Key2gb, on 03/11/2008, -2/+1Gilmour is the douche yet Roger Waters is the reason the band broke up? okay...
Roger Waters is an absolute genius, nothing can take away from that...but he ***** up the greatest musical project of all time
Animals ftw - NeonGod, on 03/11/2008, -0/+1(sigh) They needed each other. Not on the same level, but in the same way Lennon's & McCartney's solo work never touched what they did as Beatles. Roger and Dave are both amazing in their own ways and they brought out the best in each other.
- darkchild82, on 03/12/2008, -0/+1Sorry, but I totally disagree. Roger Waters maybe talented but Gilmour is still better. Better vocalist, better guitarist. Even after all these years he STILL sounds amazing !
- gordo2323, on 03/11/2008, -7/+2Other way around, pal.
- bouche, on 03/11/2008, -1/+1why is this youtube-tard claiming that this is HIS video in his description? thief.
- SqlByte, on 03/11/2008, -1/+2Whenever i talk about music with someone i never herd someone didn't like Pink Floyd....
- mentice, on 03/11/2008, -0/+2Gilmour's Mihalis is pretty dam good as well.
