- sonmiles, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Dugg. I've had it with Dell too. I told them I was going to drive down to TX and personally kick the sh!t out of Mike Dell. Their Customer Disservice is total crap.

- Bonehead54, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I'm thinking about buying a new comp and I have been looking hard at the Dell ads, but after reading about all of this, I am very hesitant about considering Dell now. Price is always a major factor, but if the stuff breaks and you can't get any help, what good is it?

- Amonblack, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Dell sucks! Every person I speak to that's owned a Dell computer has always been regretful. Both their computers and customer service is of the poorest quality. I did a little reading about this reed switch and it is a common problem with many models of del notebook computers. Instead of having a recall or fixing the problem, Dell took the cheap route and did nothing. Even worse they refuse service on a known problem.
I'll spread the word about this to everyone I possibly can!
