I used to work with Dave in Sydney about 15 years ago when he was selling magazine ad space out of a dumpy little office at 541 George Street (since demolished to make way for luxury condos). He wore leather pants every day and never let go of the rock'n'roll persona.

    His co-workers used to prank his phone from the manager's office and sing AC/DC songs, and he'd get furious and storm out of the office.

    Surprised to hear he's been exiled to Texas of all places, but it sounds like at least he's found the appreciative audience that Sydney wasn't ready to provide.

Bon Scott used his unique vocals to propel the band to the top and Brian Johnson took that baton and ran with it after his death. Fun Fact, Brian Johnson auditioned for lead vocals with Dave and Bon before the band formed.

You know they were really part of the experience and therefore must be idolized for about 15 minutes.

    Brian Johnson was in a blues band before he auditioned for AC/DC and Bon Scott actually went and saw Brian Johnson perform before he died in his car. Bon said he actually really dug Brian's coarse bluesy vocals.
