- Briones07, on 07/20/2009, -0/+5John playing I'm Down with his elbows is classic!
- ncapone, on 07/20/2009, -1/+6Does anyone have anything nice to say? I think this would have been amazing to see, and I wish I was there.
- itc518, on 07/19/2009, -3/+7He played some legendary concerts at the old Shea Stadium in the 60's with the Beatles, this was historic because it was the first event like this at the new stadium.
- Kanten, on 07/20/2009, -0/+4What about Ringo?
- leftofthecenter, on 07/20/2009, -0/+4Him making history happened waaaay waaaay before this.
- NextGenXbox, on 07/20/2009, -1/+4strawCITY field, forever.
- sprx, on 07/20/2009, -1/+4Dude, pick your battles. This is an article about Paul McCartney.
Flame the articles about banks and buyouts and bailouts over in the political or economic sections. - inactive, on 07/20/2009, -1/+4Hey guess what!
This article is about Paul McCartney!
Hmm...maybe the title and description weren't clear enough. - OpenBar, on 07/20/2009, -0/+3Chris Farley: Uh.. remember when you were in The Beatles? And, um, you did that album Abbey Road, and at the very end of the song, it would.. the song goes, "And in the end, the love you take is equal to the love you make"? You.. you remember that?
Paul McCartney: Yes.
Chris Farley: Uh.. is that true? - Syric, on 07/20/2009, -2/+4I suppose that's appropriate.
- inactive, on 07/20/2009, -0/+2Dugg for Paul McCartney
- optionshiftk, on 07/25/2009, -0/+1So I guess we're all over that whole "Paul is Dead" fad..eh? hehe
- Recoil, on 07/20/2009, -1/+2Aaaah.... flushing meadows... *cue fantasy sequence*
- leftofthecenter, on 07/20/2009, -0/+1let me digg you up, cuz you referenced.... strawberry fields.....
- MitchCumstein, on 07/20/2009, -1/+2I was there Friday night and McCartney was at the top of his game. I wonder how many of today's musicians will draw a crowd like that when they're in their sixties.
- shibagarden, on 07/20/2009, -0/+1Whooosh!!
- garyi113, on 07/20/2009, -0/+1I think he's referring to the Chris Farley interview of Paul on SNL.
- leftofthecenter, on 07/21/2009, -0/+1something to the effect of "Yes, chris, its been my experience that the more you give, the more you get."
- RupertPupkin22, on 07/19/2009, -9/+9I don't get how he made history. He played with Billy Joel at Citi Field. He has a damn good publicist.
- Cepster, on 07/20/2009, -0/+0Wow, so big of a whoosh I think the earth's atmosphere is significantly changed!
- aaronbustillos, on 07/20/2009, -2/+1Does he still tour much?
maybe he'll come to SoCal... - CanUTube, on 07/20/2009, -4/+2Trolling Troll is obvious
- skingers, on 07/20/2009, -4/+1The guy is 67 years old and played some of the finest songs ever written for 3 hours to a sold out Citi Field. Maybe not as awesome as Beatlemania at it's height but still pretty bloody awesome.
You sad little man. - bluesman3535, on 07/20/2009, -6/+2And guess what, don't stump for groups that are questionable if you are a billionaire entertainer. In your case I understand but McCartney could have had a concert in the park like Paul Simon. Central Park concerts present no shady ethical dealings aside from the flipping the cops a few extra bucks, fair enough.
- bluesman3535, on 07/20/2009, -8/+3Citi--- A corrupt, nearly insolvent sans tax-funded bailout bank! Yeah we're all pumped up now. Let me Roll it to Ya---the full Bill.
- ThraxyWaxy, on 07/20/2009, -18/+2Who gives a *****? The beatles are over.
