  • fluidfoundation, on 01/29/2009, -3/+13Well... the eq on the mic is turned a bit high to hollow out the sound, and there's a bit of warm distortion on that as well. So yeah, he's able to do sustain type sounds with his voice, but the real 'eletric guitar' sound is still coming through thanks to the rig. I've seen a few folks do this.

    It's really nothing special at all other than how high he can reach with his falsetto. Then again, there are pitch shifting effects which could bring his voice up an octave.
